So I went through the seventeen pages in this Forum, and I'm glad no one mentioned him yet. Die-hard Final Fantasy fans should know him. He's the one that composed a lot of the music you hear in the games; my favorite being "Aeris'/Aerith's Theme" played in Final Fantasy VII after she dies (sorry if I ruined it for anyone....)

Well, while he is undeniably talented, he's not my favourite composer. However, I would be lying if I said I don't have goosebumps of joy when I listen to Sephiroth's Theme. Of course, that is his theme from Advent Children, the one from the actual game (FF VII) being pretty boring...Although surely very awesome back in the day.

I can't really think of any 'especially' epic song he wrote, recently. The only song, in FF XIII, that I really liked was Barthandelus' battle theme. Other than that, not much

My hopes are quite high for FF Versus XIII. The trailer's music was awesome.

yeah i know this guy, hes one of the best composer in video game history. Yes when Aerith died in the game, it mde me shed tears, because of her dying obviously and the song. He also did Kingdom Hearts... I Think.

I love his music. My favorite piece is To Zanarkand but I think his best piece is Liberi Fatali

Just saw this thread. I honestly am not a Final Fantasy fan, and really didn't know any of his music, but I went to the Distant Worlds concert in Toronto about two weeks ago now and Nobuo was in attendance. He was so goofy looking hahaha. He actually joined the choir at the end for One Winged Angel!
