Like the topic title says, I'd like to know if there are any Beybladers who are planning for another tournament to take place at the London MCM Expo like the one in May. I'm hoping there's going to be one at the October Expo because I missed out on going to the one before that and I'm sure there are others who did too that want, like me, another tournament to be held.
UK Beybladers: Will There Be Another Expo Tournament?
We don't know yet, it all depends on if Rocky wishes to do another one and if the centre will allow it again. I do hope so as well but for now, there is nothing planed.
Well, someone else could organize it too... I don't want the entire UK community reliant on one person :\
^ Well even though my name is at the top of things, it's still a group effort kinda thing when it comes down to it. ^^; I'm still not sures whats happening either though....sorry.....
Thank you for letting me know about this. I hope people decide to hold another tourney! If indeed another one goes ahead, it would be great if the centre allowed it to take place at Expo again. ^^ The last one looked like a lot of fun from videos I've seen on Youtube. Please let me know when things concerning holding another tourney are sorted out (as in if there's going to be one again at some point this year). It would be awesome if the Spinoff returns!
In all honestly tourneys are better in smaller places. At something like the Expo, there are so many people and there are people who just want to know more about the product and such, it means that a tourney would most likely be Double Elmination format which is not so fun.....not saying that if we did do something there, we wouldn't have a tourney. Just that if you wanna have fun then I'd suggest coming to a smaller one instead. At the bigger ones, everyone is sort of representing the WBO and such and it can be tiring....
We could turn beychange in to a full tournament, and just have the customization as a small thing going on there if people are interested?
I bet it's very busy! If there was a tourney in October at the Expo I would battle for a while but not stay there all day as I plan to go with some friends (fellow anime/manga fans) who aren't Beybladers.
So perhaps going to something smaller as you said would be better for me. Trouble is, there aren't many Bladers I know of in the town I live in (other than Espio of course although I haven't met him in person). However, I would probably go to something like the Summer Smash in the future. If there was a tournament like that in Hampshire or Basingstoke (my hometown) that would be even better.
@ theflightyellz: EDIT: The Beychange? I haven't heard of that. I'll look it up. EDIT 2: The Beychange sounds like a cool event. Where and when will it be held? The idea of it becoming a full tournament if enough people are interested is great! If it doesn't, that's okay because free battles will be going on anyway. ^^ I haven't battled anyone other than my own siblings and neighbours (and that was years ago when Beyblade was all the rage in the UK) so if I can make it it'll be awesome to battle someone I've just met for a change.

Oh, you're near Espio? It should be relatively easy to get to London, I do hope you can make any future WBO-only tourneys. I dunno if we'll have one near there as London is nice and central for most people butif we did then I would attend.....
Ellz......we are talking about that now. XD

Do you think we'll get space for free at the expo a second time? :\
If we did that would be cool.
Rocky: Yes I am near him. I just live in a different area. London is fairly close (an hour or so by car, I don't know how long by train though) so I could probaby attend WBO-only events quite easily. If another tournament was held in the Expo in October, I would almost definitely come (since my friends and I are still planning for the Expo trip at the moment) and if there was one near where I live I would be sure to come too!

You won't know of you don't try again. ^^
I don't think it would be such an issue.....they let us have it last time and that was at very short notice too. Of course, I am not expecting anything from them but if we decide to go ahead and ask then I would not be suprised if they let us have a little space. :3
Then I put my hand in the middle for us to do this, all for one and one for all, right. Also, we have to keep up with the work over in the UK, we can't sit on our butts all the time and if you ask me, meeting people on a site is great and I would do it a hundred times over.
Well if this happens i would probably be willing to throw in some money if needs be.
if all else fails, can't we just find a space outside on the grass? since it's quite spacious near the bottom of the stairs anyway
Whatever it is, you guys need to make a decision ASAP.

That was one thing I was thinking as well.
Maybe we should do a poll to see who is up to it and then go from there, though i would have thought most of us would want this.
Edit: O and i have thought up a name this I was laying in bed once trying to think what we could have.
where would this be?
any ideas when?
yeah sorry just read it ok, i may be able to come and ill help all i can =)

A place on the grass would be a good idea if we can't get a space at the Expo. ZanderSoulwind, good call - let's do a poll and see who's up for this. I'll definitely be! I'd love to come and participate in the tournament. Would we do it over the two days or just one?
Also, let's hear this name you've come up with. It'll be probably be good! Anyone else can make suggestions too.
