Tournament Check-in Details
- Check-in begins at 11:30AM.
- Check-in ends at 12:00AM. We will begin the tournament shortly thereafter, if not immediately so please be aware.
- If you are running late please send me a message directly or post on this thread, otherwise we will start without you.
- See more details under the "Need-to-Know Information" section at the bottom.
- This tournament has a maximum participant limit of 32 players.
- If you are certain you can make it, please hit the blue JOIN TOURNAMENT button at the top of this page to register confirm your spot!
- Once 32 players have registered, you will not be able to enter the tournament.
- As such, only users registered on the list at the top of the event page can participate in the tournament. No exceptions.
- If you are unable to make it to the event, DO NOT hit the "Join Tournament" button. If you need to withdraw, hit the UNJOIN/LEAVE TOURNAMENT button.
- If something unexpected comes up last minute and you cannot come, please post in this thread. Any players who sign up on this thread and do not show up without any prior notice will receive a warning in accordance with our Community Rules.
Location
We'll likely be playing outside, in the gazebo attached to the front of the High Park Nature Centre.
This means that if you're coming to High Park via the Bloor St W entrance, follow Colborne Lodge Dr. down until you'll see the large gazebo on the left-hand side. Check the red pin on the map image below if you're still unsure.
If we aren't in the gazebo out front or on the grass, check behind the Nature Centre as well, as there is another gazebo there.

NOTE: Public washrooms can be found just west of the Bloor St W entrance of High Park. There are no public washrooms available at the High Park Nature Centre. Do not knock on their door asking to enter. They don't like that.
Tournament Match Type Info: Bring 3 X Beyblades! (3on3, WBO Deck)
The First Stage of this tournament will be played using the 3on3 Match Type found in the WBO Match Types Guide.
The Final Stages of this tournament will be played using the WBO Deck Match Type. We will be using WBO X Format Rules found below:

Have an Xtreme Stadium or Deck Box? Bring it!
We will be bringing a single Xtreme stadium for this event, but more are always welcome! 3on3 Format is also best played with a box that hold 3 Beyblades in secret, so if you do have a Beyblade X "3on3 Deck Case" (pictured below), bring it!
Any BeyStadium is fine for free play, but Beyblade X's "Xtreme Stadium" (BX-07/10/00, similar to the one pictured below) are particularly appreciated. If you can bring one, please post here to let us know.
The more Xtreme Stadiums we have present the more matches we can play simultaneously.

As always, during the tournament while we cannot give you a set time for when your next match will take place, you are welcome to follow along with the tournament bracket on Challonge. Challonge is the management tool we use to run the event.
Need-to-Know Information

Open your account page on your mobile device (if possible) during registration to help us keep things quick.
2. Arrive On Time
You must arrive by the tournament start time to enter. We cannot add new players to an event once it begins. If you're running late, contact the host.
3. Stay Aware of Your Belongings
We do everything possible to ensure a safe environment, but can't be held responsible for lost or stolen goods. Keep your gear close by!
4. The Tournament Will Last At Least a Few Hours
This event is likely to last at least a few hours. If you can't commit to the entire tournament, you're welcome to come watch and play for fun instead!
5. Listen For Your Username To Be Called
Your name will be called when it's time for your next battle. If you need to leave early or take a break, tell a judge. Missing a match could mean disqualification!
6. Players Must Meet Regional Product Age Restrictions
All players in this event must meet the age restrictions on Beyblade products in their region. TAKARA-TOMY recommends Beyblade for ages 6+. Hasbro recommends Beyblade for ages 8+. Players under these ages may only participate with the permission of their parent/guardian.
7. Players Under 18 Must Be Accompanied by a Parent/Guardian
If you are under 18 years old, a parent/guardian must accompany you and be present for the duration of the event.
8. Contests, Raffles, Gambling, Betting, and Selling Are Prohibited
Advertising the sale of any product or service, as well as posting about any contest, raffle, gambling, or betting on this event page and conducting them at the event without approval by Fighting Spirits Inc. staff is prohibited. Please contact the Organized Play team if you require approval.
9. Terms of Service
All event attendees and users of this website are subject to our Terms of Service.
Here is our rankade group. If you wish to have your matches at my events recorded for a ladder then please be sure to make an account with rankade and joining my group via the code "82P9H".
With rankade you can input your own match history, I just need to approve it. I should be able to input matches for group members as well. This system is what I'll be aiming to use until WBO has its own official ranking system in place.

Hello Azan, these match types requires a total of 3 Beyblade X combos. So only having one will not work. Please send Zankye a message directly if you're interested in what he has to offer.

This is a Beyblade X tournament, this means we will be using Beyblade X products only. Only Takara Tomy produces legitimate X Beyblades at this time.
EDIT: Given we've just hit the original participant cap I'd like to remind everyone that loaners are not guaranteed. If you want to 100% play you will need to bring 3 unique Beyblade X toys.
The cap has also been raised to 32 participants maximum. Remember if you want to attend to be on time (be present before Noon) and to bring your own Beyblades.
Given the number of participants I've set up another Swiss Format event. Challonge links below. Please remember there is no guarantee of loaners, bring 3 X Beyblades of your own tomorrow if you want to be able to play for sure! Be on time because we will start at 12 sharp!
