Tornado Wyvern: Too expensive?

Hey there,
I just wanted to ask why tornado wyvern is so expensive? I get atomic is one of the best drivers out there but let's be honest, it's just a bit of plastic with a ball inside. I don't understand.
Do feel free to comment your opinions on this topic.
It's a prize beyblade from random booster #8. It being a prize bey means it's rare, you only have a 1/8 chance to get from the pack, that's why it's expensive.
If you don't mind the original colors, you can get tW by buying B-98 God Customize Set. It comes with a yellow tW layer, MGC,  Atomic and 4.

i don’t know the odds, but i’d bet they were worse than 1:8 for the random booster.

assuming tW is actually “rare” as TT states, it wouldn’t have the same odds as all other beys in the random booster.

I guess because people are willing to pay more for the best part. Other words - because they can.
Same way as new beyblades are more expensive online in the beginning, until rush for them passes, although prices in shops are same as for old ones.

The "Rare" pick is equally common as everything else. It's just hype to make you feel better if you hit it and less bad if you miss.
Also, because Atomic was so good and Tornado Wyvern came with 3 top-tier parts, sellers began confirming that the boxes they were selling had the Prize Beyblade and everyone began buying them, reducing the stock and in turn increasing the price because it was getting harder to get

Stores buy sets of Random Boosters, which contain all 8 beys in its 8 boosters. So unless the store takes some boosters off the shelves, the chance to get the "rare" bey is the same as all the other ones.

Ugh but this one is so ugly

Then pay for the pretty purple?

I like the colors of the one in the God Customize Set myself, but everyone's tastes are different. I think the purple looks nice, but it's not worth the price to me. I can get more good parts with the set, so it's a lot more bang for the buck.
I must be lucky then. I pulled tW first try.

you should enter the lottery with that kind of luck
If it's 1 in 8, that's a 12.5% chance. Nowhere near lottery lucky, haha.

But hey, you never know.

I'm pretty sure it doesn't go to the stores in sets.

Pretty sure he's right. Stores buy a case (which is 24 boosters I think) and a case will have the ratio stated on the box since it's straight from Takara Tomy.
Any prize bey is expensive and hard to get. But if you were looking for a tW then I would get the god divine remodeling set, it comes with a recolour of tW and it also has four other beys with 2 metal God Chip and it also comes with some really good drivers like atomic and bearing
The real question is why is twin nemesis insanely expensive right now? I saw one on Ebay going for about $60

Sellers can put a listing up for $500 if they want to, that dosen't mean that's the item's regular price. In Japan tN sold for 800 yen, about $9. Stocks sold out within hours, now if you want it you'll have to pay at least $17.

Dude, I shared a link for one that sells for $17
Yeah, you can pick whatever price you want when you sell something. Doesn't mean someone will buy it.

$22 isn't bad for tN (including shipping). I bought mine for a bit more than that. Decent God Layers seem to float between $20-30, give or take.
tW is the rare bey in the set and I'm sure it's out of production by now. Your best bet is purchasing a full set (Like this one). Sure you're paying a hefty price, but you're guaranteed the entire set so each comes out to a little over retail.

Or...
Just settle for the Hasbro version.

Twin Nemesis is the only way of getting the Ultimate Reboot driver, outside of Japan.
