I'm actually surprised no one made a thread for this already. But this film looks very awesome! You've likely seen the trailer that was released in Tuesday(which can be found here: http://marvel.com/thor#/video). I wasn't sure who the villain was at first, but the films description said that it was Malekith. I don't know much about him(actually I know close to nothing) but I am still very excited and can't want for this day right after May 3rd.

P.S. I do hope that there are more LEGO sets produced for this movie, as well.

This seems pretty good. Although Thor is not my favorite hero, this movie looks really good. I can't wait. Also I really like the trailer.

I love all of Marvel's film trailers. They all have the exact same exciting feel and all seem to feature narration from a character in the movie, show a little bit of what the heroes are gonna do in the films early points, and then feature exciting and awesome scenes backed by continuously louder and exciting music, leading up to a shocking or unexpected scene in the end of it. But it totally works, each and every time. Btw I liked how the Marvel logo turned out to be Thor's cape in this one. Nice little scene. I also like how Marvel already has released their planned films for the next 2-3 years to build up early hype for each one. I want to see all of them.

I am an Iron Man fan, but Thor is not bad..but the trailer for the sequel doesnt seem to interest me that much..too much love story...(urgh..i hate Twillight)
my adrenaline not pumped up as much as i saw the Iron Man 3 trailer at first it is released..but yeah,gonna watch Thor as well

Thor 2 should be really good. I like that they've included Christoper Eccleston in the cast, he's a great actor. I'm hoping Loki has a bigger part than is implied in the trailer though. However I would like to know more about Captain America: The Winter Soldier if anyone has any information.

Thor apparently gets his right hand cut off by Loki in the film. Apparently, he cant use the Mjolnir with his left(even though Id never heard that before, maybe I missed something), so hes gonna have to do something about that, even though he is clearly wielding it with his left hand in the above poster.
