The Big Bang Bandstand Battle
London, UK Burst Format Ranked
Tournament Results
12:30 PM on 02/08/2020
A London event? Whaaaaaaaaaat?!
PLEASE NOTE: Due to likely cold Winter conditions, this event has a fixed cap of 24. While it may be possible to enter the event on the day due to no-shows or dropouts, we will not be going above this cap so we can progress through the day smoothly. Please take this into account when deciding whether to make the trip.
Time:
The tournament itself will start at 12:30pm, so as a guide, aim to arrive before 12:15pm. The Tube and public transport services are not very reliable, so plan your journey well in advance.
Remember to turn up on time. If you arrive later than the scheduled start time, your place will be forfeit and you will not be able to participate. If you know you'll be late, please let us know via PM or a post in this thread!
Please note that we cannot predict how long an event will be, as this varies based on the number of competitors and the ongoings throughout the day. In order to stay for the whole event, please be prepared to stick around for at least 3-4 hours.
Location:
Regent's Park. We shall be at the Bandstand as always. Please check this thread on the day for updates or like us on Facebook for any quick location updates.
Directions:
Here is a map of Regent's Park. Click on the tab labelled "Monuments, Fountains and Statues". Head to the area marked Bandstand. We suggest taking the London Underground or Bus to Baker Street.
Prizes:
Not until further notice. Sorry ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Hosts and Judges:
This tournament is being hosted by ~Mana~. If you have any queries about the event, feel free to PM us or post in the thread and we'll be happy to help!
Important Advice:
Despite being around friends and rivals, please remember we are in a public park. Bad behaviour and swearing will not be tolerated and may result in a ban from future events. Please keep your personal belongings with you or in a safe place while at the bandstand. If you see any personal items left around with no apparent owner, please hand it in to a judge, so we can return it to its rightful owner. Your cooperation is much appreciated.
Spread the Word!
Are you as excited about the event as we are? If so, be sure to tell your friends about it! And if you haven't already, follow us on Twitter and like us on Facebook!

Damn I come back from Poland the day before but I should be able to make it, shouldn't be too tired since the flight is only 2h, just getting to the airport in Poland is a hassle.
Can’t wait for this. See you all there

The gesture is certainly appreciated, but we unfortunately do not permit monetary prize donations! If your mother is still interested in donating a prize for a future event though, I'm happy to discuss this with her tomorrow and we can perhaps look at working together to order in some Beyblade-related products instead!
Please do thank your mother for us though! The gesture is very much appreciated!

Thank you so much! Just one question: it isn’t a long winder is it? I don’t have the best track record with those when it comes to not breaking them

How about we use the gift card to Amazon ship a Beyblade prize to the winner ?
Good morning guys!
Just a quick message ahead of the event: it is a cold day out today, so make sure you're wrapped up warm! We're being spoiled by a high of 10 whole degrees today, so it'll definitely be needed! You've been warned!
With 16 entrants so far, I do expect this event to go on for around 3 hours, so please take that into account when attending today. If you haven't already registered for the event in the thread, please do so ahead of time! There are spaces still available!
When you arrive, please ensure you're checking in with me to ensure you're marked in for the tournament! I will run through everyone entered again during pre-event announcements just to double check, but I'd ideally like to have a full list before then!
See you all in a couple of hours!

Can you tell us what positions we all were?
In all honesty it would be hard to say without going through each individual persons win and losses just to find 1 persons position

No worries, I'll add you to the bracket anyway as I know you'll show up, haha.
