I have always wondering what ratchet to use with a blade so I decided to do a small test. I chose the needle bit because its sharp point makes it very sensitive to uneven weight distribution. With that, I decided to use different sided ratchets on different blades to see which ratchet was suited.
I did 3 spins and took the average. However, if we want more accuracy we need to increase the amount of spins we measure. Unfortunately due to time constraints I was only able to do 3 spins.
The most valuable ratchet turned out to be 5 > 3 > 4. However, the full data and the article can be found on my blog:
