This combo is pretty underrated due it being overshadowed by the infamous, dominating Pp on Xt+.
The issue with Pp on Xt+ is not that it loses, but that it can't "win" (more specifically against opposite spin). The meta has become stale due to the very oppressive opposite matchups that have take over it. B3 on Br vs Pp on Xt+ can last upwards of 5-20 mins for the first round to finish... Yippee! Bearing, Xt+, Rise, Hold' and even Volcaic' is 9/10 times what a well seasoned pro will carry at least one of the parts in order to win. Imo this has made the game stale and boring as majority of the the rounds will end up as ties if both the LAD beys are well balanced. Burst Classic only thing I need to worry about is that dragoon Combo.
To get to the point Pp.Sting.Br kills left spin LAD combos and saves you a lot of time. B3, Choz S, hS, lS, etc. can't beat Pp on bearing regardless of combo i.e lS.Sting.Br. Outer is a good replacement for sting, just less stamina in same spin.
It's weaknesses are that it has mediocre same spin performance; will lose to O, OM, At, R, Xt+, D possibly other good stamina drivers. Weak springs don't affect Pp in same spin badly, though Judgement and Lord in same spin can potentially burst it (the height of Pp and Br make it 'burst resistant' like Volcanic. Zwei may burst it through disk to layer contact; has not occurred and Zwei isn't as affected against Pp.St.Br compared to other left spins. Deck specific bey.
So all in all, this is a bey bodies left spin, but is weak against right spin. Because it is a deck specific bey, you don't have to use Xt+ or any LAD driver. As you have Pp.St.Br that counters all left spin, then you need a Pp on Xt+ counter (right spin threat) and last slot can be anything (ideally opposite spin or Judement counter).
The deck I recently used today in 3 tourneys were: Pp.Outer/St.Br, JDiabolos.Bl.Bl (I'll explain in another thread why Bl is viable for stationary and is superior to the octa variation, esp. vsing Pp on Xt+), pA.St.Iron(1st tourney)/Knockout Pegasus.Goku.00.Dagger.Ul'(second tourney). I will also make a thread on Prime Apocalypse and Knockout combos. As you can see I decided not to use left spin and won 2 tourneys.
First tourney I was carried by Phoenix and got first; decided pick up knockout pegasus to use it for the second tourney. Second tourney was a struggle as every1 had at least one counter to Pp.St.Br, but Odin on reboot' was pretty clutch, esp. against lS on Hold' (got me self knockout Odin for collection). 3rd tourney I used: Pp.Outer.Br, Kp.Goku.00.D.Ui', Pa.Sting.Ir, but lost against my mate's Pp.Xt+. And I let let the fuy rent my Jd.Bl.Bl, dunno what I was thinking as I gave him a direct counter to my Pp combo *sigh I needed that Lord of the rings spriggnutt set trilogy. Besides getting third twice last year, these are my first two 1st place Ws that I won in a row, which is one of the the reasons why I am sharing this combo. The other reason is that it freshens up the deck style and encourages players to use alternate bey formats like KO attack, stationary attack, burst attack, etc.
Tips would be to launch Pp on bearing hard if an attack combo (like lord or judgement) are lower than Phoenix and hit its disk. Soft launch if the attack bey Is the same height or is Zwei/Orb Aegis.
Got these combos of the Corocoro YouTube channel where at the of writing should only be a week or 2 old with Pp.Sting.Br. And of course from the coffe channel.
*Like why is rise a driver! The entire point of the driver is to equalise until it succeeds in outspinning in opposite spin. Should've forfeited when it reached the 5 min mark (13 mins I will never get back T_T)
P.S: Yes this is also a response to the Pp.00.Cross.Xt+; don't get me wrong as this is the strongest combo, just that it kills standard and time. Also classic rules!
