I'm pretty new to the Burst Standard format and haven’t done any tests with my DB/BU beys at home yet. I’ve tried mixing some DB/BU combos and found that the Paradox disc on DB/BU is pretty interesting.
The Paradox in downward mode is a rare disc that connects tightly to the layer, making no gaps like other forge discs, which is pretty good for High mode combos. Another thing is that in downward mode, it has a skirt-down look that works well for defense. Plus, its size is almost the same as the DB/BU disc, which naturally adds to the layer's thickness.
But we all know Paradox has two big downsides: it's lightweight and tends to scrape.
So, I’m wondering: is it worth bringing Paradox disc to Standard format? Are there any other parts in DB/BU that can help fix these issues? I heard that a Bearing-type driver might help prevent scraping.
