Hello!
I haven't been a member of the community for long, but I'd like to extend a hand to players in the Tri-State Area (NY, NJ, CT) and the southern New England states. I live in Connecticut's Fairfield County, about an hour from NYC by train.
My town (Norwalk) has a local gaming center called Battlegrounds. Its main focus is the Magic: the Gathering card game and boardgames, wargaming, D&D, etc. However, I've pitched the idea of opening it up to Beyblade-related events and products. The owner is friendly and seemed to be receptive to the idea. My area has little to no Beyblade activity, which is why I'd like to reach for support from other players that may be nearby.
I have only two Beyblades do far, and they're arriving very soon in the mail, but I aim to expand my collection and provide equipment (launchers, stadiums) to the local community in time. I haven't been "in the game" long, and it would be really great to start a community of local bladers.
