Some old websites.

Since I am fairly new here, could someone tell me what BBF and Off the Chain are? I gather they are some old websites, but I want to know more about the origins of the WBO.Please tell me.
Moving this to Discuss worldbeyblade.org.

To summarize: Off the Chain was the first Beyblade community created by Bey Brad, who is the founder of the WBO. BeybladeForums is another community that was created by some other people in the years after OtC closed in 2005. It lasted until 2008. Brad decided to make his own site again in October of 2007: beywiki.com. Beywiki then became the World Beyblade Organization on December 4th, 2008.

This thread from our first anniversary describes our history a little bit: https://worldbeyblade.org/Thread-Surpris...e-Brad-Day

Unfortunately, some of the formatting is messed up and the images are broken, but the information is there!

I also saved a lot of the threads from BBF before it closed and posted them here for download many years ago: https://worldbeyblade.org/Thread-BeybladeForums-Threads

Hope this helps!
Thanks for archiving Kei if not for people like you, so much Info and history would've been lost

You're welcome! I'm glad I had the foresight to take the time to do it back then. The reason I did it was because I could sense BBF would be closing imminently with everything that was going on at the time and I remembered feeling sad that more wasn't saved from Off the Chain.

Another page if anyone is interested in our history is this post Brad made a couple years ago on his Tumblr: http://beybrad.tumblr.com/post/127184610...my-history

I've actually read that post about three times, hah. I really like looking into the old history of the WBO and its members. Thank you for saving all this! We all could use a history lesson on how this brilliant site, and, how it came to be! Also, it is very interesting in its own right, seeing what things were like back then, and, to see how far things have come. It really makes me feel grateful and overwhelmed to know the WBO wasn't always here and this popular (though it always deserved it). But, again, thank you for saving these things! It means a lot.
