School/College/Uni

Talk about what's going on with you in school, college or university!

I got a B in my practice Philosophy exam today. This was really good as

a) We weren't given any help
b) We weren't told how to answer the question effectively
c) I did it quickly at midnight the day before it was meant to be handed in, LOL

I know I can definately get an A in Philosophy!
College prep schools aren't fun.

especially roman catholic ones.
well apparently the average for the first calculus midterm in my uni was a 66. and i got a 67! but alot of people failed. it could be to it being the first midterm first years have ever written but now that i look back on the test i made so many mistakes that could have been avoided if only i had known 1 thing a little better T-T
I've been working stupidly hard this year. Dx
I have a paper to do soon thats my final grade wonder how I'll do on that. Algebra is starting to make sense since it didn't make a flip of sense to me two years ago. Wonder when we get to move on from stars in Astronomy though we did take notes on black holes yesterday and today really interesting. Have to finish that study guide for history at least I didn't neglect to bring my book home so I can do that tonight.
Still not liking my history class. ):

My Pin Hole Camera Assignment that I posted about on BBF a while ago is coming along nicely! I've got the layout pretty much done and one good picture taken so far. I'll be sure to post the whole thing here when I'm done!
I had nothing but evening classes for the final three years (and Fridays off all throughout). For those three years, I never woke up anytime before noon (and I'm rather serious about that).

And now here I am struggling to get up each day for work.
I got an A in my Politics exam! 39/40 - pretty DAMN proud of myself. /gloat
im useless in politics T-T oddly enough i have a politics class too
I do not know why this hasn't had much posts but....

I hate going back to school tomorrow, it feels so tedious tbh.

However, I is loving me ladies.
Okay, I need to pick my high school for next year, and I'm in a dilemma. Should I go for the school that is the top school in my district, and gives a lot of college credits, or the school that specializes in my field (architecture), and is right next to my house? I just can't pick Pinching_eyes_2
Top school because u can gain other useful abilities, some even helpful in architecture

Awesome, a prospective architecture student!

I personally think it's way too early to start specialising for you, however determined you are in achieving your architecture course - concentrate on receiving a well-rounded education at the moment, is my advice.
Yay <3 agrees with me Smug

but seriously, it is your best opition imo
Yeah, I'm starting to think you guys are right. Plus, I might change my mind in the long run (highly doubt it, but possible).
I'm in high school, 10th grade. I will bee taking my final exams next week and the only one I know I will fail is Spanish. It is 250 questions.....No way of passing it....
Scared about grades. But if I make AB Honor Roll my neighbor/babysitter will get me Portal 2!
just woke to check my university's result..got another DEAN list for this semester..GPA of 3.59..happy to see that..Grin
High school next year, and I'm pretty happy. The last nine years of my life have been boring. They say high school is the best four years of your life. Instead of being the quiet person that plays Yu-Gi-Oh!, I want to be more outgoing. It's kind of like a new start. You get to meet a lot of kids you've never seen in your life. You get a semi-fresh slate. Who knows, I just might become a little more popular...
yeay!!i'm happy today that i found out my final result.. i passed with flying colours. although not good enough but i'm satisfied for the time being. i got 3.44 for my GPA...hopefully next semester will be the day i et my first DEAN....

I've been trying to balance a 3.55 GPA, but it's kinda hard when you don't really have much school time in the first place, (Why, Chicago?) and essays breathing down my neck. I just noticed that I dropped a letter grade in Health, so I'm gonna have to get that A back before next Thursday, when Mr. Stephens (He played in the NBA!) leaves.

wow, you must have less time to yourself i guess but i'm amazed that you still managed to have time for bey. May i ask you, what course are you in?
Eh? I'm in 9th grade, but the school I go to uses college courses, so we can work on our majors early. I plan to major in Creative Writing and English. In fact... I believe I have a literary analysis on The Kite Runner and an essay on the French Revolution's shortcomings due today by midnight.
