Flash's OS's were from it tornado-stalling. Saramanda Saramanda BD145 has really poor Stamina, yet is very aggressive. Also, the disk on BD145 can slide up some on Saramanda, but I pushed it back down between every battle in case it may have moved up during.

And this is just a thought that came to me when testing first started: Wouldn't it make more sense to just put MF before a Zero-G combo as isn't it common knowledge that Faces are incompatible between the series? We never put MFB before combos for Metal Facebolt in the past, so why do we do so with Metal Stone Faces?

All of Saramanda's OS' versus VariAres in Left were extremely close! R145R2F would begin to equalize with Saramanda, but would always fall short ever so slightly thanks to all of that rubber (especially R145). So to fix this to some degree, I swapped R145R2F out for ED145MF.

SS: 14 (5 KO, 9 SO)
VA: 16 (6 KO, 10 SO)
Ties: 17 (LOL)
Mislaunches: 0

Saramanda win rate: 47%

As you can see, VariAres did a lot more equalizing than attacking, but it certainly outperformed its previous setup with the added Stamina. It was able to destabilize as well as KO Saramanda much better with MF as opposed to R2F (KO thanks to destabilization), and ED145 allowed VariAres to keep spinning shortly after toppling over; scoring the win over E230. In Right Spin, this variant sucks big time, so there's no reason to look further into that. But VariAres is definitely easier to control and far more effective with ED145MF in Left than R145R2F in either direction against MSF Saramanda Saramanda E230CS.


Time to begin the higher Track Attack testing... Yea!

I can't say I'm surprised about the whole ED145>R145 thing, as you put an MF on (which has quite a bit more stamina) and ED145 isn't stationary, like R145.

You may have just found out a key part for attack in left spin for Zero-G!

Do you mind trying variares with xf in left spin? I feel the added speed destablizes much easier. The wide tip also helps the bey keep balance at low spin which is vital to spin equalize.

I guess the set-up should be Variares ED145XF.

Go for it. The disk around it that prevents it from going fast will probably defeat the purpose of xf however I'm not sure how effective the disk will be in a bb10.

GCF performs exactly the same in a BB-10 as XF does, except when it wobbles at the end, the disk around it keeps it from falling over completely, allowing it to get just barely another rotation-or-so in. It'd probably be pretty beneficial to Dan's combo...
