SW145 Testing Thread: Tier List Worthy?

SW145: Potentially Tier List Worthy?

Hey guys it's been quite some time since I've made my own testing thread, but I've finally made another. This is a testing thread for a part most people have probably not tried out or written it off as bad since they got it: SW145. I feel it actual has potential for being on the tier list for stamina. So lets get onto the tests!

So first let's start off with solo spin time comparisons.

Out of my solo spin times AD145 actually did the best followed by SW145 (Defense Mode), SW145 (Attack Mode) and surprisingly W145. So far SW145 it not looking to bad.

Now for the tests. I did matches between SW145 (Defense), SW145 (Attack), AD145 and W145. I used Earth because it doesn't have to much recoil and it was one of the only stamina parts I had multiples of besides Phantom which has way to much recoil for these tests. Enjoy!

W145: 3 (3 OS)
SW145 (Defense) win rate: 85%
Detailed Results

W145 got smoked so bad. I was actually quite surprised that SW145 (Defense) won by so much.

AD145: 6 (6 OS)
SW145 (Defense) win rate: 70%

Results were a bit closer than the W145 match up, but not much. SW145 (Defense) still smoked it. So far so good.

Whoah did Attack Mode make a difference or what. It was a lot closer than the Defense mode and not only that but that battles themselves came really close as well.

I was honestly quite surprised when Attack mode got the same percentage as Defense mode after seeing how close Attack mode's battles were against W145 while Defense mode blew it out of the water.

I was actually quite curious to see how this played out after the solo spin and the other matches. It turned out how I expected it with AD145 coming out on top just because of my solo spins and other matches. Although at the end of all this testing I'm still baffled considering I thought W145 was suppose to be better than AD145 for stamina.

I was actually a little surprised how close it was considering how the other rounds played out, but SW145 (Attack) did put up a good fight.

Overall I feel SW145 (Defense Mode) actually has potential to be on the tier list for Mid-Height Stamina combinations along side with the more known W145. Hope you guys enjoyed these tests!
That definitely would explain why my combo Death Herculeo SW145WD, a random combo actually had decent stamina.

Very interesting tests, thank you very much!
Thunder Dome, what brands are your AD145 and W145? It's been observed that Hasbro manufactured their Shogun Steel Beyblades' Tracks and Bottoms out of considerably lighter and softer (less dense) plastic materials than Takara-Tomy or Sonokong's Beyblades from their the Zero-G lines. If your W145 was made by Hasbro, then that could account for its contrasting performance from what's expected.

Thanks for all the tests, though. SW145 definitely wasn't a part I ever considered using for Stamina purposes, but maybe now I'll have to reconsider (following further testing of course!).

The AD145 I used is from the BBG-25 Ultimate Stamina and Defense Set and the W145 is from the Takara-Tomy BBG-01 Samurai Ifraid.

And thanks. Hopefully some other people try this out as well!

Thanks J.I.N.B.E.E! Glad you enjoyed my tests.
Okay TBH when I did play around with my combo, or at least test SW145 stamina, since I didn't use a BB-10, or any Takara Tomy stadium, don't take my word for it, then again, the hits were so small it wouldn't reach the ridge that often, let alone the wall or where exits would be.
Nice testing man, although I am pretty surprised that W145 did so poorly considering that other test have proven it to be a lot better than these results show. Also what is the LAD on SW145 like?
SW145 seems like a great choice. It has more defense because of the disk protecting it from upper attacks and clearly by these tests it is better than the other two parts for stamina. Also looking at these tests I'm surprised W145 is the worse of them all and that AD145 was better all this time... I will possibly tests this out myself.
Nice testing, I'll try to do some. It's ironic that an overlooked part is actually a good substitute for AD145 and seems to be on par, if not perhaps a bit better than W145 in some situations.
Somebody placed with SW145 in the last NY tournament. It was really good. I was about to make a testing thread but you got it up before me. I will post some tests later today.
