Rocket Griffin

Apologies if this has been discussed already and I just didn't see it.

But for clarity in the BBX communities, how are we ruling with Rocket Griffin...

Is a burst finish now only if the bit separates and the rest If Rocket Griffin remains in tact?

Also with its ability to separate and become a LS bey obviously the battle plays on, so what about the bottom half that would be in the stadium as an obstruction?

Removing may also interfere with the battle.
Takara Tomy havent said how it will work in their rulebook yet. The WBO rulebook will almost definitely be the same as TT. We will have to wait until then.

When it comes to one part having stopped in the stadium, I would expect the rules to be the same as with three bey battles where you just leave it there and it acts as an obstruction until the battle ends.

I wouldn't say its obvious that the battle would play on if one part stopped, since with the bullet driver in burst it wouldnt matter if the bullet driver was still going, if the main bey was stopped or KOed the battle is over.

Thats a bit different to bullet griffon, and the more direct parallel of phantom fox in hms shows another possibility where the opponent would have to take out both parts of the bey to win the battle. But we can't really know until we get TTs call.
The rules for it have been released now. The lower section is the main part of the bey and the top part is irrelevant to any rulings. So if the bottom part gets KOed the battle is over even if the top part is still in the stadium.
Thank you Banjaxed, I did see that yes. Leaving this here for clarity if anyone else needs to see it

Rulings
If a BulletGriffon combo splits apart, only the lower part, called Griffon, can be finished. In other words, the opponent must outspin, Burst, or knockout Griffon to win.

The upper part, Bullet, is considered an additional piece of the Beyblade. Therefore, even if Bullet stops spinning or is knocked out, Griffon (and the BulletGriffon combo as a whole) is still in play. Conversely, if Griffon Bursts, is knocked out, or stops spinning, the BulletGriffon combo loses.
