so you didnt like RE4?

He didn't, but that's not really the point. If you just realize a barely upgraded -- or, subjectively, downgraded -- version of a game as a sequel you cannot expect it to be as well received as the original.
Rhythm Heaven - I don't like this WarioWare, Elite Beat Agents hybrid very much.

Pokemon Platnium - Eh, it's ok.

DragonBall Evolution - Surprisingly decent.

Resistance Retribution - Finally finished this bugger.

it wasnt "barely upgraded" there were many improvements

1) There was none of that retarded backtracking and boring puzzle solving nonsense that was in the last game

2) The multiplayer was awesome. i didnt think i would like it at first but it was enjoyable.

3) It is much more preferable to go around the game with shiva instead of ashley who cant do anything to help you or defend herself

4) the storyline was actually connected to the previous games, unlike 4 that went on a complete tangent.

seriously, what were expecting from this game? what would it take to please you?

hey man maybe you need to accept that people have different opinions than you

stop being a tool
I havent played RE4 or 5 but what I read then was 'lack of complex puzzles/storylines, easier game overall, lack of original storyline'. Uncertain
Henry Hatsworth and the Puzzling Adventure -
Oh god just kill me now, This game is intensely hard.
World 1 is pretty much a cakewalk, but after that, the game doesn't hold punches, especially in the secret stages, those just try to break you.

4-1? (special stage), is just BRUTAL, I've already lost 10+ lives.
It's an auto-scrolling stage, with dotted-outline boxes that need to be filled in, moving platforms, giant enemies that shoot at you, and these monsters that look like totem poles that take a LOT of damage.

Oh god this game is mean.

edit: figures, after I make this post, I beat it in one life.
finished Assassins Creed, finally. Well good and bad the story is still cool but damn if the fights with like 12+ enemies were annoying. Some fights were awsome but then 5min later felt broken and frustrating.
I realized that I stopped playing in january because of the mission that had you kill Sibrand on a boat, kept jumping into water. >:[

true dat

2) The multiplayer was awesome. i didnt think i would like it at first but it was enjoyable.
playing as sheva (me being right handed) is carp IMPOSSIBLE

3) It is much more preferable to go around the game with shiva instead of ashley who cant do anything to help you or defend herself
sheva and ashley are kind of two different gameplay concepts lmao; sheva is just there so co-op can be included and make sense in the story, ashley is meant to be someone who can be captured making it all intense when you have to protect her and not just yourself

4) the storyline was actually connected to the previous games, unlike 4 that went on a complete tangent.
nobody cares about resident evil story at all, it's awful

seriously, what were expecting from this game? what would it take to please you?
being able to move (a little bit) while shooting like in gears of war or dead space or any third person shooter/action game, a story that isn't rubbish, and uh, i dunno, not being an almost COMPLETE copy of resident evil 4 with minimal improvements.

and really, it's not that re5 is a bad game, it's just that i've played it before, and now that i've completed it, i shant be doing it again. (except maybe for achievements)
the new inventory system is dumb

also "less puzzles" is not a positive
new inventory system rocks, i can switch weapons without having to pause the combat

and dude, the puzzles in re4 are terrrrrrrrible and completely interrept the flow of the game
