Hey all, it's been a long time.
Haven't posted much around here in about 4 years, after my interest in the burst gen really started to fade. Having a fantastic time with X though. With TT and Hasbro blades being mostly the same this time around, having access to 'competitive' parts in local stores has really reinvigorated my interest.
Quick intro - I go by Crash, or CrashHobby most places on the internet. Been playing beyblade since plastic gen, around the time the anime started airing in the US. Over the past few years, I made some content on TikTok back during the burst gen, and gained a pretty decent following there. But took a long hiatus after mid-late burst. Came back a few months ago, and have been making content again for X, and have been having a fantastic time. Not really here to promote, but if you're interested in checking out some of the vids, you can find me on Tiktok @CrashHobby
Ohio - I'm currently living in mid-east Ohio, near WV. Bit over an hour outside of Columbus. I grew up just south of here, and this area has always been a bit of a dead-zone when it comes to good, consistent gaming stores. There are a few, with the average selection of MTG, Pokemon, and Sports cards. But, none of them really attempt to host, or promote new games in their stores. It's always made it a bit difficult to find other people who might be willing to play.
I have seen some events in Ashland, OH as well as some stuff going on in WV. Those are still a few hours away, and as an adult, it can be hard to make that kind of trip work into the schedule. (But, hopefully I can make it to one of those in the near future!).
Long and short, anyone else on this side of the state gathering and playing anywhere?
Anywho, hope all is well with everyone, and that y'all have been enjoying X as much as I have!
