No, just the haircuts, the live action television shows, the catch phrases, the animu's dubs, the TVs, the bikes...everything but North American animation sucked in the 90's.
That was like during the Novel phase where everyone was going apeshit over them even though most people didn't even read them, like Goosebumps everyone got them because they had cool looking covers.
