Random Beyblade Anime and Manga Thoughts

(Aug. 29, 2018  5:14 PM)DaJetsnake Wrote: You know, I only just noticed Sisco on the Beyblade Burst first manga cover, pretty interesting tbh. Would it have been more interesting if Sisco was a previous enemy returning from the 1st season or newly introduced, as it was done in God? Also, would he have had a 'prevolution' of Satan or maybe they planned for him to have P2, I2, or something like that? Note that I don't read the manga so I wouldn't know if he was actually introduced there
Nah, Sisco's previous beyblade was never shown. It was directly Satan as per my knowledge. A prevolution Satan, that's an interesting thought though, if it existed, how would it look?
Sisco came in Super Z series as well, for an episode, lost to Valt and then went off. He wss directly shown battling Valt, no pre match talks or anything. It was just a cameo.
A the very least Sisco has been consistent in God/Evolution....everyone else but Free....meh
So I recently came up with a wild idea..
I was rewatching the last episode of God and it striked my mind, what if Shu was not actually Shu?
I mean, maybe they could have made it a robot counter part of Shu. Something like what happened to Zeo in Beyblade V Force?  I know, wild right? XD
But here is how I thought it would go:
So, after the Red Eye face reveal  we were shown how Shu had changed. The scene where he put on the mask? The scene was cut from there and we were back to real time.
I thought, after this scene, there could be a scene which we were not shown to give the ultimate plot twist in the end.
So, Shu puts on the mask, but after a few seconds, he takes it off and tells Ashtem that he would win his own way and not by giving up on hings he cared about, and saying failure is the only reason to try harder. He tells Ashtem that he will inform WBBA about what he was upto. Ashtem afraid of this captures him and locks him out.
He then creates Red Eye, so that he could cover Shu's absence. So all that Shu in a tank and that imagination process of the Requiem Project would make sense. He was getting programmed.
But then he loses his senses(you can say, mechanical failure) and Spriggan takes over. He goes all that way, and in the last episode they could have made Valt and gang discover that it was actually a Robot!! Then Shu comes in running, somehow he escaped and finally shows up. Now Spriggan realises that the person he was serving as his friend/ master was not actually him. Shu is without a beyblade right now.. So Shu tells Valt to take him down, and Spriggan gets out of control in order to go back to it's orginal master, then it carries on the way it happened. After this, Shu takes up Spriggan Requiem?
In this way, Corocoro saying that Red Eye is NOT Shu couldd have been justified too?
And to be honest, when the news came from Corocoro, I had actually thought of it. But then gave up thinking it wasn't possible. And I was right.
This is just a thought. I just wonder, what if it had gone this way?
Let me know your thoughts!

I didn’t know people brought their phones with them in the shower. What was your thought process?
It still is a good concept though. Should I write a fanfic abot it?

Haha. Thanks!
As said, I was just rewatching the last episode, when this popped up. I am an OG fan too, so that plot from V Force just crossed through. And I came up with this. I thought it would be a mess in the starting, but the plot was just getting in line with me giving it some thought. So I decided to post it here.
It's upto you, if you wanna write a fanfic about it, you can.

Honestly, that would be an AWESOME twist. At least then, Red Eye defo won't be Shu but I do like Shu's transition from a calm, collected character to a savage and insane character we all know and love.

Anything, its just Burst I mostly, so let's talk about Metal.

Let's go in chronological order starting with Metal Fusion/Fight season 1: what did you like, hate, who do you like/hate, favorite batttles, characters you loved, characters you hated, etc,
Oh and Battle Fortress the game, weren't the original characters originally going to be in the anime?

Alright then...
What I liked? Gingka being a sympathetic protagonist, the fact that all three of the Metal Saga connect with each other, the bey animation blends in pretty well
What I disliked? The cliché cast archetypes, ridiculous history and mythologies (Seriously, Moses using tops?!)
Characters I liked? Kenta, Doji, Tetsuya
Characters I disliked? Not many I dislike TBH so I'll throw in Benkei or Hikaru
Favourite battle(s)? Gingka vs Kyoya, Yu vs Kenta/Benkei/Hikaru

I've never played the games but I'm pretty sure that the game characters were always going to stay game exclusive, much like the G-Rev GBA game.

Cliche cast? Really? Idk, the Metal Saga as a whole doesn't have too many tropes or cliches in comparison to other anime/even the original Beyblade but we got a lot of characters that were pretty unique. Kenta's the kind of character that would normally be a background character, we had a Beyblade sniper, Benkei was a weird mix of the fanboy and the big guy without being too boring or annoying (until Fury, but for Fusion and Masters, he was fine), Tsubasa, Yu, and Ryuga.
I don't have a problem of any of the character, I just have issues with how a few of them weren't handled....or weren't handled at all in the future.
Jesus using tops? When was this? The whole war from the Legendary Bladers' ancestor?
-I don't have a problem with Hikaru, she just needed more wins....and a new special move. She promised her mother she'd be a strong blader but like she didn't. (In hindsight the only girl the series hasnt screwed up in character development were probably Sasha, Julia, and the V-Force females) but that's it.

I remember seeing the promotions for the game and online talking about original characters planned for the anime with the returning characters from the anime. They probably were either in development for the anime but eventually cut or made from the game but I've never been clear on which one tended to be the case.

Then again, the only characters at the time in the game were Gingka, Kenta, Kyoya, Benkei, Tetsuya, HIkaru, Hyoma, Tsubasa, and Ryuga. How the heck Yu wasn't in the game despite being in episode 20 while Tsubasa was in episode 24.
Most of the newbies for the game were pretty cool and I'd love to see an alternate 26 episode story where they were introduced. Mamoru being Kenta's former friend warped by revenge and jealously, Kakeru starting a rebel Face Hunters group, Rina crushing on Ginguka, Kai being a bey parts hunter and the potential customizations, Hajime was alright, and Mariko, Rochi, & Hellbryd were pretty effective for anti-villains and side heroes. Plus MarikoxKenta was cute.

It was implied in MFB that Moses used a bey to part the Red Sea during the Exodus.  It's a good example of bey-lore reaching a little too far.  The point of Exodus was that God, acting through Moses, delivered the Jews from slavery and made the plagues and miracles happen.  I give the writers a pass because I believe they just didn't understand the cultural weight of that story and didn't mean to offend anyone.

Well, a random thought.
To me, Xhan is less like Xhaka and more like a mix of Zac and Xhaka.
Another thing I was wondering, how do the kids in the burst generation get their beyblades? I mean, with spirits in them.
Because the rest all have generic beyblades. So is it the beyblade which chooses them? If not, how does it work?

It was a flashback in Chapter 10 of the manga.  Valt and Shu have their faces pressed to a toyshop window, mesmerized by the beys.  Valt works extra hard at his chores in hopes that Santa Claus -yes, I said Santa Claus- will give him Valkyrie.  On Christmas morning he finds it in his stocking, thus Santa officially entered the Beyblade Burst cannon as the bestower of Valkyrie.  So.... Christmas?  Elf magic?  Delusional schizophrenia?

Yeah, I know this, they got it from some toy store and then they battled and Shu was losing all the battles. So that's it? The store is the place where you get these spirited beyblades?
Edit: Okay! I got it! Santa Claus, elf magic and magic! Okay, thanks Cat, marutti and Battleburst!
