Random Beyblade Anime and Manga Thoughts

maybe kenta saggitario may evolved or not but you never know, also kenta has became alot better at beyblade than season 1 and 2
Well looks they really incorperated Phantom Orions smug in it's bit beast. It is even eating unicorno

well masamune is good but phantom Orion is the best stamina type
There's this store near a pizza shop where I eat at lunch and they have Foosball tables. I want to go up to the seniors playing and be like "I challenge you!" like what Masamune does. But that's a totally weird idea.

As mentioned above, "selling well" is in the eye of the beholder. If you look at Takara Tomy's financial releases for the last while, you'll see they predict fewer and fewer Beyblade sales each fiscal year. It's still usually either #1 or #2 for TT, but at some point they're going to want some stability from sales. It won't go on if it keeps on tumbling.

As for the 15 minute block, it's probably to do with ratings. Duel Masters has been in the 15 minute episode slots for years now (and I have no proof on if that show ever did well in the ratings in Japan), and that hasn't been a death blow to the franchise as TT releases tonnes of packs, there's always a new series on the air, and it still outsells the competition.

For international broadcast, Nelvana will obviously combine two 15 minute 4D episodes into 1.

Is it going to be a battle between two shows where the more popular one will get the actual full half hour ? This is the sort of thing that just never happens on any other channel in the world anyway.

It's rare to have a show demoted from a full episode length to half, but it's not rare to have 2 shows air in 15 minute slots. Cartoon Network and [adult swim] do that for a good chunk of their original programming in the US.
I don't know how, but I have a hunch that Gingka & Madoka will sometime make out it the anime. I mean, [according to the internet] they kissed in the manga, so, yeah.

That is when you realise that you should never blindly trust anything you read, because Madoka does not even appear in the manga.
Woah she's not? I can understand I guess since she is a pretty useless character. Still that's surprising.
What is surprising is that someone would base their baseless charatcer couple on something so unexistent.
ever notice some of the rival bladers in the show act like jerks?
Yeah. All of the villains seem to do that.

Seeing that abbreviated running time for Beyblade hurts. D: Does anyone think we might lose an opening or ending theme? If we don't, we'll be down to some really short episodes. I can't help but think now that this is just Takara being cheap and not wanting to buy out a second airing time for B-Daman.
What if the toyline is just more successful than the anime itself? Takara is not "being cheap"....
The newest episode of the dub was certaintly peculiar...

"Team Gay Gay Galaxy" No comment...

Hand me ups? Isnt it Hand me downs???

"Fierce Lady Flash!" Also no comment

There was some wierd reference by Madoka to a "Teenie Bopper Boy Band Concert" that was obvioulsy lost in translation, but Tsubasa's response was suprisingly funny.

As for Chow-Shin, the mindset of having girls adore you because you beyblade like your too cool will not help all of the young foolish kids who think beyblade is everything, as if the obsestion with Pegasis wasnt bad enough already...

which episode would this be?
Dont remember the # or name, but it was Masamune vs Chow-shin in the 1st battle of the world championship.

The team name "Gan Gan Galaxy" is mentioned 2x in this episode of the english dub. The 2nd clearly sounds like "Gan" but I swear that the 1st time sounds like "Gay"

Also, since when did Mei Mei get the ability to use the force??? (episode prior) and why does her boobs seem to go from big to really really big? I dont understand why a show like beyblade would actualy decide to make a character with sex appeal...I guess that means MFB is to Mei Mei as original Beyblade was to Mariah.

So basically, being too cheap to buy out a second half hour to air B-Daman. Tongue_out

It doesn't bother me too much, I watched Metal Fight series 1 for the first time in the span of a week and realized that a lot of the episodes basically have two stories going on that were split nicely at the 13 minute mark or whenever the eyecatch came on. It's just that the show gave us double the amount of story in a week compared to how it is now.

That leaves 3 people who didn't get a star fragment. Do you think they will get their Legend status from the Earth or Gaia as Dunamis (sorry for misspelling) said as the first ancient bladers first acquired their power to battle Nemesis? Or did I miss something that would have included the 3 extra people?

There are 7 planet beybladers; Pluto isn't a planet and there probably isn't going to be an Earth beyblade.

Anyways, Julian's (Julius) voice in the dub is terrible.I can't stand it, he justs sounds like an annoying kid, not a powerful blader.

you mean like rutaro's?
How come leone evolved? Leo's got it good. Why not make ALL zodiac beyblades evovle, only with better parts, like storm aquario, to ______ aquario RF/RS or something.
How do they pay for all the damage done to the stadiums? Libruhhh
I liked how they used to change launchers with enthusiasm in the old series.

In MFB, they just ruined the beasts.
I know this is going to be counted as speculation, but some things need to be said before the urge to do so puts pimples on my forehead.

I predict a major scene involving Ginga and Ryuuga holding their "simplified" Beyblades (Wing Pegasus and L-Drago Guardian) and remembering that the blader his/herself matters more than the Beyblade's design. I also had another theory but it's real sad and depressing.

Depressing theory of a person who's otherwise a cynic:
this isn't really a thought but i just wanted to say i just complete the entire original beyblade series (Season 1, 2 and 3)

Exactly what on earth happened to the bit beast, all they got now are the rubbish constelations(PLZ MIND THE SPELLING) which dont really do anything

They are metaphors. This is a game of spinning tops, and "bit beasts" were also only supposed to be metaphors, which is why they do a lot less in G Revolution. In the Japanese version, the characters mostly called for their Beyblades, not their Holy Beasts ("bit beasts"). They barely ever called upon the spirit of their Beyblade.
Let's see some acceptable logic here;

Takara felt like it made sense to bring the Beyblade spirits down to Earth and not have names like Draciel or Hayate in their tops names.
