I have not heard enough to form an opinion, but my general thought is that it's too mellow for me.
Karma police
I've given all I can
It's not enough
I've given all I can
But we're still on the payroll

This is what you'll get
This is what you'll get
This is what you'll get when you mess with us

And for a minute there, I lost myself, I lost myself
Phew, for a minute there, I lost myself, I lost myself

This is all I got.
Um... Ok? Why would you post the lyrics to Karma Police? lol
panic did a sweet cover of karma police

lol

Minus the vocals, sure.

It's the only Radiohead song I can name and have a decent conversation about, lmao

Name another song, lol. But on a serious note, i've got bad news. REALLY bad news. Thom Yorke just agreed to contribute to the next twilight film "New Moon" and sadly, i have proof.

and i love the present tense. can't wait for their newest stuff.

brad, what have you exactly listened to from them? a lot of it is mellow, but they have their fair share of upbeat. that's what i love about them . . . each album has its own unique sound and feel.
link me some upbeat stuff

hail to the thief is IMO their most upbeat album. songs like "2 + 2 = 5", "There There", "A Punchup at Wedding", etc.

don't forget " Go to sleep" my friend.
whaaaaaat

The Bends is definitely their most upbeat album--though in a different way from Hail to the Thief. In terms of genre, The Bends is Alternative Rock and Hail to the Thief is Radiohead.

i wouldn't say it sucks perse, but its definitely not as strong as their later albums.
It's a pretty average brit-pop album.

Not that that's a bad thing, it's just sort of boring, to me at least.

*Awaits Coldplay troll*

Really bland and boring, if you ask me...
Not their greatest song, I'll give you that. But even Radiohead's worst is still better than most stuff out there.

Way better than the last one but it's still pretty average. :\
If you can take anything from radiohead it's that you should ignore first impressions haha
