Format Information
Brand Restrictions: None (Hasbro and TAKARA TOMY Beyblade X Products are legal)
Stadium: TAKARA TOMY XTREME STADIUM / ASIA HEIGHT STADIUM STANDS
Restricted Parts: Metal Needle (MN) is banned.
The tournament is divided into two stages: Group Stage and Final Stage. Group Stage will use the Swiss 3on3 (Best of 3) First to 4 points format and Final Stage will use Single Elimination 3on3 (Best of 3) First to 4 points format.
For more detailed information about the match types or rules in general, please see the WBO official rulebooks here on the WBO website. Here is a brief summary of the match types we'll be using:
Group Stage: Swiss 3on3 (Best of 3) First to 4 points
Bring up to 3 Beyblade combos with all unique parts to be in your deck! After inspecting both blader's decks, The Judge will use a coin flip to determine which blader will decide on the Stadium Side to launch from at the start of the match (please note that bladers will not have the option of switching sides during a set). Then, select your initial order of all 3 Beyblades from left to right in secret, keeping them concealed from your opponent. It is highly recommended to have a deck box or some way to conceal the order of your beys.
Bladers will battle with the corresponding Beys in the order set to score points, and re-shuffle their deck if all 3 battles are completed before either blader has reached 4 points.
The first blader to score 4 points is the winner of the set! The first to win 2 sets will be the winner of the match. This will continue until all Swiss rounds have been completed (amount of rounds will depend on player attendance on the day of the event, estimated to be 5).
Final Stage: Single Elimination 3on3 (Best of 3) First to 4 Points
