Proposal: Allow Beyblade X Entry Winder Ripcords with Metal Fight Light Launcher 2s

Hello Metal Fight players,

As of currently, the Light Launcher 2 and its variants (left, LR, zero G, and zero G compact) are practically inaccessible for players, as "midfake" ripcords wear out quickly and frequently skip when launching beyblades of higher weight as found in 4D or Standard, or when launching lighter Limited format beyblades particularly hard.

However, as the Beyblade X ripcords have been found compatible with Light Launcher 2s, I propose legalizing the Entry Launcher winders for use with Light Launcher 2s and their variants. Light Launcher 2 ripcords have 60 teeth and achieve just under 4.5 revolutions, (technically making them illegal for use under the WBO's Metal Fight Format Rules, hilariously), and the X Entry Launcher winders have 70 teeth, achieving just under 5 revolutions.

Additionally, the Light Launcher 2 family skips far less frequently when paired with a beyblade X series ripcord, allowing players who prefer ripcord launchers to have a strong option to use once more. Despite the added 3/4ths of a rotation, they still generally prove less powerful than the metal fight string launchers.

To make this change happen, I suggest modifying the System Incompatibility rule on Page 5 of the Metal Fight Format Rules to read

Quote:System Incompatibility: Parts from one system cannot be used with a system they were not designed to be compatible with, e.g. using an MFB Launcher with a Plastic Customize Grip, except in the methods explicitly outlined in the green section below. The same rule applies for parts within the same system which were not designed to be voluntarily compatible, such as the Diablo 4D Metal Wheel’s Core.

Additionally, add the following text to the green section just under the line detailing Launcher Grip + Battery:

Quote:Light Launcher 2 & Variants with Beyblade X Entry Winders: The Light Launcher / Light Launcher L / Light Launcher LR / Zero G Light Launcher / Zero G Compact Launcher / Zero G Compact Launcher L may be used with a Beyblade X Entry Winder ripcord.

This would revitalize a currently dead gameplay option. Thoughts?
This is a good thing, seeing there was a similar ruling allowing to use MFB LL1 Ripcords for Plastic Launchers as an alternative to the Dragon Winder as they share the same system and are more accessible.

I am in support of this.genuinely a great rule idea.
The Dragon Winder is from a Different Generation, so there should be no difference in allowing this, or potentially even the longer XGS Winders, as Options in MFB
I am also in support of this.

My scene is the perfect example of a demographic who would benefit from this, as for my previous MFL event these were players either coming from X as their first or nostalgic players who are finally happy to have the chance to use their old toys in a way they never got to before, and something like this gives them and anyone else coming to legacy from X just a bit of an easier time both sourcing launcher materials for MFB. It would also give what would be considered filler junk to most players in the Entry Winder a new use and new home at basically no additional advantage of cost to the integrity of the game and perhaps even encourage more winder usage in general.
