[Product]  BB-106 Fang Leone 130W²D

I KNEW IT WASN`T 145!
also a little disapointed about another D variant
How many do we have now?
i wish they remade unicorno
like um
(insert) unicorno W125C2S
I knew I said this somewhere before, but I believe Takara-Tomy might have caught on to how popular particular Performance Tips have been over the past few years. It's a pattern I at least see with Wide Defense and Rubber.
fang leone is a must get for me

You mean "it", not "him". That sounds wrong on so many levels if you are a..... you get the point. Also, how are they similar in any way?

it was just a mistake, and they are similar, well the bottom parts, w2d? thats copied from galaxy pegasis
The comments are starting to get off topic I think we should lock this thread till further notice.
W2D is similar to both WD and EWD, sort of combined. With the inner sharpness it is similar to WD, but with that pot shape like EWD it makes a fusion of both, eventhough EWD isn't good.
im pretty sure im late but idk i just saw i close up view of W2D and its a Wide defense tip thats flat around it and Sharp in the center basically just like FS but wider
maybe its called wind wide defense and you wind the sharp part and sometime during the end of the battle it starts spinning real fast boosting the beys spinning speed
Guys I think its really Wave Wide Defence instead. I took a closer look at the pictures and saw wave like designs. Here's a blown up picture with reference.

Another reference picture you can see is from here
http://beygensg.blogspot.com/2011/02/bb-...pdate.html

I'm assuming the wavy design actually functions similarly to how shoe soles have brake lines to cause traction. I guess in this case, supposedly meant to be to prevent ring out?
Wow, those red lines are totally not on track. That does not follow the actual shape of the Bottom at all, and you can clearly see it with your eyes ... Just stop speculating aimlessly like that.
My speculation is actually based from that image plus this:
The image was found on the link I posted in the previous post. Maybe this could explain why my "aimless" speculation is such? The red lines were based off the gradients found on it.
If you look at the red lines you draw, they totally do not follow the shape of the Bottom. Can you not see it ?

Those pictures were already posted in this topic previously, by the way, so I know exactly what they are.
The red lines shown in the first picture were meant to show how the waves were suppose to be found in the second picture. And yes I already know these pictures were posted. If you look at the Blue W2D, you could see shadow gradients on the right side of the W2D. I'm just hi-lighting that part which I believe people have not completely spotted.

My point being, I'm trying to show that its just not steps but actually wave indents. My reference is taken from both of the pictures. Besides, we've been speculating what sort of name W2D could mean. I'm just implying that this might be an accurate point on what it was suppose to be.

And as for the red lines, the left side is to show how a normal WD is usually is. The right side is just to show how the wave is suppose to be in the picture itself.
there are some "ideas" I have about W2D
It could be wall wide defense wall suggesting it has defense though that would be according to TT
it could be Weight wide defense it might be that the outer part of the bottom or the entire thing could be heavy because it should have defense.
or the last one which is wind wide defense which I don't have any notion to support with but is just a guess
I apologize to Kai-V for speculating but I thought it would be useful

But that is not how the right side actually looks like and is "supposed to be".

It is really disappointing when people keep posting speculations instead of talking about what we already know. It forces us to close topics that could have valuable discussion.
The real name for the Bottom is W²D, and it stands for Wave Wide Defense.
I swore Wave Wide Defense was a speculated suggestion for a name. Maybe the movement speed is a slow, and steady attacker when it moves into that aggressive movement pattern like posted above, creating a nice, "wave" of smash into the other bey. That's my Beautiful, Dark Twisted Speculation for this name. Thank you for the info Kai-V.
The tip has alot of weak points. It may be better off as defense than stamina, tho its not a rubber tip.

If fang leone gets hit, it willgo diagonal, the tip will scrape the floor of stadium, and tons of stamina will be lost.

Wouldn't the same happen for a regular WD?
No. Think of a worn SD, where when the "Floor Scrape" part touches the stadium floor, it will move in an aggressive movement pattern. Think of a more stamina improved FS.

WD Didn't Have This Problem. So W^2D Shouldn't Have This Problem.

Kai-V you got shamed. Fonspark said it was Wave Wide Defense, and what did you do? Yelled at him. Then you closed this thread down because of "aimless speculations". Then it turned out to be Wave wide Defense.

Their shapes are very different though.
The angle of WD's tip is very wide, allowing to to spin stably while W2D has a Sharp shaped protrusion which is very narrow and is likely to cause/have balance problems.
So? By naming any name, it doesn't mean there's any confirmation to the name.

Thus it really helps with nothing, except "what it could be" which would essentially be anything.

Dude shut up. Fonspark had no proof at all and baseless speculation is just spam tbh. She was right to lock the thread to prevent spam.
