Problems with light-Launcher?(Ripcord launcher)

There may be another topic about this. and if so. Then I'm sorry.

So it seems that there are also problems with the Ripcord launcher?
During first use. It performs as it should..Then after X amount of time(4 days-1 week for me)
As i pull the ripcord. It makes a cranking sound as if trying to continue turning a beyblade though it's already on.(May not be a good enough example. If anyone can come up with a better example. Please say)
End result is when the Bey is launched. It has a horrible and weak spin time,Or it staggers then stops as soon as it hits the Arena Floor.

I've taken 3 Light Launchers apart and have compared them to a new Launcher. But i haven't found anything different about them

Has anyone else had this same or different problem?
My hasbro S Peg launcher did something similar, it would require much more force to pull the cord out, and even more force to inset it. So I took a peek inside (without opening it) and nothing was out of place, after 5 or so launches and cranks it stopped. Maybe the spring in your launcher shifted positions?
I could complain about the Light Launcher but I have like 15 of them from buying Hasbro releases so if one breaks I really don't care. Tongue_out

The only complaint I have is that the ripcord is way freaking short.
Try always pulling straight and straightening your winder. That should at least postpone any breaks.
Kai V : Back when the plastics were out, I never straightened my winders, and not a single launcher broke. Are you sure that the straightness of your winder is responsible for breaking in launchers?

it is responsable for breaking launchers
The problem is that in side the launcher there is a peg with a spring and when it comes loose or the spring is loose or wears out. Because after the rip cord is pulled out the peg stops the gear which stops it from spinning and that makes the bey to fall off the launcher.

It's what i've always done. But the thing i've seen is Its not broken. I've compared it to a brand new one and found nothing wrong or out of place with it. And it still makes the noise.
And i've found that if i pull the ripcord all the way to the left as im pulling straight. It acts as though nothing is amiss
Remember that the launchers from then and now are both made out of different materials and are made differently.

Straightening your winder will help prolong the life of your launcher because it takes a lot of stress off of the gears. (It only makes sense). Also there's no reason not to straighten your launcher... all you need is hot and cold water, it makes it way easier to launch using a light launcher anyways.
you shold open the launcher and next to the rip's there is like a plate and a spring get both of the of and your launcher will work good again an if you have an attack tip bey it will launch even better!!!!

Huh? I already said "I've taken 3 Light Launchers apart and have compared them to a new Launcher. But i haven't found anything different about them"
Meaning i know the contents of the launcher. But what are you talking about?

I have no clue what you are trying to describe here... It sounds like it might be one of those illegal modifications though... Uncertain

You were younger then and most likely didn't pull as hard.

EDIT: And taking the spring/stopper out of your launcher would NOT make it preform better.
There is nothing wrong with your launchers. You need to straighten your winders and as Kai-V said, pull the winder out straight. There is no need to be rough.

Take a look: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sv5RTQNea-M
I totally NOT agree, man.
It was fine until I pulled the winder out one day, and snap, it broke.
my only takara-tomy ripcord just cracked in two and I use it often so maybe............ I always pull to the side for MAXIMUM POWER...................and then someone gets hurt XD
Seriously you two are doing something wrong, and everything, including a solution, has been addressed here already.
This happens to me. My clear blue light launcher doesn't always launch right, like you described. I just put my rip cord back in and pull it out quickly. It fixes it for a good while.
Still, I have to wonder why it happens, since you said it looks like nothing was broken.
in my opinions maybe your just not use to the new launcher maybe u just need more practice

What new launcher?
I assume he mistook this for the "complaints about the beylauncher" thread
