I can't tell if this is supposed to be a dig at Corgan's current style or not.

If so, get out. Corgan is easily one of the most underrated guitarists in modern rock, and he definitely still knows how to rock -- the solo in Tarantula as well as the guitar parts in United States and Superchrist are more than enough evidence of that.

If that wasn't a dig then I apologize for getting defensive -- they're one of my favorite bands of all time so I tend to get a little touchy when it comes to them. lmao
