The gauge thing is to help me monitor what's goin' down with the CPU, Disk, and Memory. The number you see tells me how much memory is being used up.

I must say the dock was the greatest invention ever. Expose is too.

Not too sure about the dock, but Expose is really indispensable in my daily usage.

Actually, the idea of Start Menu/Taskbar in Windows is also quite intuitive too, but only that if you have too many opened windows, the labels in the taskbar buttons become too short to be usable.

Luckily, they implemented the grouping of similar taskbar buttons in XP, and that previews of each window is shown instead of just a text tool tip.
