Trick is a Performance Tip released by Takara Tomy as part of the Burst System as well as the Gatchinko Layer System. It debuted in Japan with the release of Booster Judgement Joker 00Turn Trick Zan on May 25th, 2019.
==Description==
Trick has two modes, a hole-flat mode and a sharp mode. As the base of the tip spins, it is meant to switch modes in battle, by having a tab on the driver hit the floor. However, in practice, this does not occur often. A blader cannot usually control what mode Trick starts in, and even if it could consistently happen, both modes are sub-par at best. The flat mode has an awkward movement pattern, and cannot usually be flower patterned, while the sharp mode destabilizes easy. Furthermore, if the mode switch does occur in battle, it is purely detrimental to the combination using Trick. For these reasons, Trick is not recommended for any combination.
==Overall==
Trick has very little stamina and control in the flat mode, and destabilizes easily in the sharp mode. Furthermore, the intended gimmick only serves to hinder the combination Trick is used on, if it ever activates in a battle. Therefore, in any format, Trick is recommended for collection purposes only.
