Jolt-Q is a Performance Tip released by Hasbro as part of the Burst System as well as the QuadDrive System and the QuadStrike System. It debuted in western countries with the release of the Hydra Kerbeus K8 & Fierce Bazilisk B8 Dual Pack.
==Description==
Jolt-Q is a wide, flat tip with six spikes protruding outwards and towards the right. As the name implies, it is a counterpart to Takara Tomy's Jolt and Hasbro's Jolt-Slingshock. However, it does not have the rubber these two tips have. It is highly aggressive, but it is hard to control due to lacking rubber. This makes it outclassed as an Attack-type option compared to rubber-tipped options, and it does not have enough Stamina to outclass other plastic-tipped options. Jolt-Q can hold an Armor Tip, but there are better attack options for this as well, such as Assault-Q.
The direction of Jolt-Q's rubber spikes are meant to, in theory, create greater speeds in Left-Spin Combinations. In practice however, there is little difference in movement speed between Left-Spin and Right-Spin.
==Overall==
Jolt-Q does not have the rubber that makes Jolt a niche attack option, and there are better options for Attack tips to use if one wishes to use an Armor Tip. Therefore, in any format, Jolt-Q is recommended for collection purposes only.
