It seems there is no thread for this cool anime, so, I made this.
This thread is for the popular anime, Pandora Hearts. I think some members here know it, and watched it, and I am one of them.

So here you can discuss and talk about this anime, and tell us your thoughts of it.
Tell us how was the anime for you in overall, did you enjoy watching it ? did you like how the ending was ? etc.

In my opinion, this anime was cool, I liked the fighting scenes mostly ...
About the ending, it was a little bit rushed, and I wished that they followed the manga, but I liked it. I give it 8/10.

I wanted to start this series but its quite long in terms of chapters. I read the first few chapters though. It seems similar to Black Butler so I didn't continue. Where Oz is the head or the heir of a great "family" and where Gil is his "butler" or close friend. At least that's how I'm interpreting it. I'm pretty sure it differs from BB in various aspects afterwards, though.

Unfortunately though, I wanted to start something different, in terms of genre (enough of this royal family stuff) xD

And yeah I know it's long and the story is 'complicated' haha, and it's same with the anime actually. I watched the first 10 episodes only and then I stopped because I didn't really understand much, but later I felt guilty, and continued to watch it for sake of seeing the ending, and as I mentioned in the first post ; it was a little bit rushed and they didn't follow the manga, therefore the anime is in the second place, while the manga takes the first ~!

Honestly, I didn't see an episode of the anime yet so I'm not really in a good position to choose either on animation/drawing basis. But I won't lie ... I disliked the drawing style in the manga a lot. Which is part of the reason why I discontinued (and also because no manga will be better than BB, so why even bother xD).

Since you're saying the storyline was a bit rushed in the anime (which is usually the case), I would still set some time aside to watch it, because the animation (from tumblr GIFs) looks cool ... (and the fighting scenes are cool?)

On MyAnimeList, this was recommended for viewers of BB since the era is the same. Maybe if I hadn't read BB first, I wouldn't have had this prejudice against the manga art, hahaha xD
