Definitely not the face, probably the part that is new?
when a new bey is brought up, i usually look at the metal wheel first
they are mostly new now; first season it was mostly storm and rock, maybe flame

NO WE DON'T WE NEED MORE USELESS WHEELS there weren't enough for me XD
Could a third, more useful mold of Dark happen if the acknowledgeable experts drop the hints more loudly?
i first look at the metal wheel then the track 2nd
The Face Catches My Eye First.(It's What I Look for)
Then The Metal Wheel.
Then The Metal Wheel.
Metal Wheel definitely. Imagine a bey called Burst Sagittaro. Would you look to see if there is a reprint of Sagittario on the Face? Or would you look at Burst?
xD
i usually look at the performance tip,
helps me know what type it is

Metal wheel coz after using dark & joining WBO i came to know it matters too ,& if & seriously if i have to buy anther dark bey then for some part , then i will keep that part & make a bey with other part along with the dark wheel & add the part i replaced with other one & give it to my friends so they just try beyblade
I only look at the metal wheel (If its a new metal wheel).
Would it be appropriate to start a petition for a better Dark Wheel? By the word of god we will see another Dark wheel on a Beyblade.

Not necessarily. WD is listed as a defense tip. It is stamina. Ray was released with RSF and CS. Both are Defense. Ray is attack.
CS can be attack as well...
When a new beyblade is released, I focus on the Metal Wheel and Bottom. Not so much the track, since all the necessary tracks have been released, I guess. But at the same time, I only care whether the tracks and Wheels are new, or top tier parts.
Ik. but at least i have an IDEA of what it can do..
Usually I look at the Metal Wheel, if it's one I do not have I would take it for a part of my Metal Wheel Collection, if not I look at the spin track, then clear wheel, performance tip, then face(If it's not Metal Face)
I look at the face, because I have had problems with the face decal scratching/rubbing off before (took 2-3 days; but GP could have taken one); and these were so far 2 Takara Tomy beyblades. Gravity Perseus/Vulcan Horuseus; why I did not bother getting it exchanged you asked? it is because i have zero proof that these are not fakes (or not out of the box); thus from now on I will be doing unboxing videos in case these things ever occur again.

That's what my TT GP face looks like now (scratched most of it off out of anger).

I look at the name, then I look at the type. After that, I look at the new parts. As simple as that. You don't need to look at the parts you already know/have and you can tell what type it is by looking at the top right corner. ( If it's Hasbro. Anyway, you wouldn't be looking at the parts if it was TT. You'd have to open the box to look at the parts.)
