I have the game running at completely max with motion blur on all, 8x anti-aliasing, and SSAO (what ever that does). It runs buttery smooth even at top speed in high intensity races with all 8 racers on screen and a bunch of traffic.

It's not Photobucket's fault, learn how to use your settings.

Effort in changing it; I wasn't complaining, I was just explaining why the resolution is smaller than expected. =]

Gawd is it such a big deal? Big images only stretch the page. We can see what the picture is without it being massive. :\

no, but to say it's "effort" is a bit of a stretch

you could also just link to the images
Evan, your BP screenshot still shows how awsome it runs. the edges and text look very sharp compared to 720p. I see the biggest difference in the hud and map

My comp has a Q6600 too. beyond that it specs are less than yours.
3GB ram
640GB (2x 320 HDD)
7350 LE geforce> needs upgrade. how do you like your ATI card? you too Pikachao? love to play HL2 on max
i was looking at HD 4670, low power requirements.

As far as I can tell it runs smoothly on everything. I can get max FPS on Halo, managed something like 30-40fps constant on max settings of Mirror's Edge. Overall I like it a lot, and I managed to get one with a bigger fan because the card getting hot was the main problem with it. ^^
Carp, man. UMPC were the most retarded fad in the PC world, since... well ever.

My family does use another laptop, but I'm not sure of the specs.

Asus EEE pc 4g:
7 in TFT active matrix
512 RAM
4G SSD
No optical
Intel Celeron M 353 / 630 MHz (which can be overclocked to ugh, can't remeber exactlyy right now.)
0.3 Megapixel Webcam

Trying to decided on getting a Touch Screen Laptop, as I will be taking 2 AP classes next year, and I want to use onenote really badly.
Sorry to BUMP an old thread but I think it's needed for discussion.
My specs:
MS Windows 8 64-bit
AMD E-300 APU with Radon HD Graphics
4 GB RAM
AMD Radeon HD Graphics

Not bad for an acer laptop, runs minecraft at about 40-80 FPS with optifine. I plan on upgrading to a good Desktop Gaming PC.
