Hi guys, it's me, bladekid, the guy who turned stock Blast Jinnius into a viable equalizer counter. Long time no see, I must admit, but I'm back at least for this moment to show off a potentially important new combo for the meta.
That combo is Meteor Dragoon 0-80/0-70 Elevate:

Basically in short:
Meteor wants to be tall for the rubber to connect, so 80/70 it is
The taper on the 0 part of the ratchet lines up basically perfectly with the taper on Elevate's plate, and this gives it insane Life After Death.
In my testing, once you get the launch down, which I'm still not 100% sure on what that is, but if you do, it basically doesnt lose to stuff via spin finish. It cooks things like Rod Hexa pretty well, tho that is one of its harder matchups.
Launching weaker and aiming to mirror and stuff out attackers can make the matchups against attack pretty damn good despite the burst risk.
It is tricky to use, and I was a bit skeptical about the consistency, but launching it better in testing and especially against other people IRL gave me a lot more confidence about it.
