Hey all! Recently I've been getting bored of my hobbies and I wanted to try and find another light hearted one that myself and my wife can have fun with. Somehow down the thought rabbit hole I started looking into Beyblade X. I've always liked Beyblades but have not played since the early 2000s. My nephews got into beys a few times and I would casually play with them. The new arena layout of X and the rules are interesting to me. Also, I think it would be fun to play competitively. What are some good steps to try and qualify for competitive points? Obviously, I see I can search for tournaments in my area, but what type of events actually count points towards things like Beyblade Worlds?

no tournaments on WBO help with worlds, sorry. everything here is entirely fan-run. Hasbro and takara Tomy run official tournament qualifiers for the world championship, but the ones in the US are for 12 and under.

Good info, thank you! Does this website have X rankings? Or just metal and burst?

Welcome to the WBO, ColterBlades . If you want to get into competitive beyblade I would look at the first link below. The last page has the newest combos and shows what it currently in use. For rankings, I recommend looking at the second link below to the latest news. as it goes in detail and has other helpful info. Lastly, I'll put something that is not exactly necessary but I like to use and can be used if you want info on the Beyblades themselves. That place is Zankye's Beyblade X Database (Third Link). It is not fully up to date as he is on a hiatus, but it has a huge amount of information and is a good place to look if you are unsure on certain aspects. Good luck and happy blading to the both of you!
