New Beyblade or Beyblade-like anime in 2010?

I was reading the Takara Tomy financial outlook pdf for 2010 and saw no mention of a new Beyblade series, well not outright, but what I did see is something that seems to takes aspects of Beyblade and combine them with the Romance of the Three Kingdoms series. Though, it could be a new Beyblade series because from I what I see...it just names it as "Romance of the Three Kingdoms", so that could be the generic hold title until a proper one is produced. The image if anyone is interested: http://i49.tinypic.com/i4lh5d.png bigger image with a close up of the toys: http://i50.tinypic.com/eg4ape.png

Says it's going to be airing across 400 different stations as well, which includes China.
it doesnt look like a new beyblade series to me
There are some spinning tops but I imagine it is just a novelty item.
Quite sure that is not Beyblade. I believe I saw some scans of that once, however it appears I have not saved them.
Ah, here they are :

It seems to be written "BEYBLADE" on the right of the first one, however TAKARA-TOMY would make it a lot more obvious in their report if it were. Metal Fight Beyblade is selling very well at the moment, and one of their past reports showed that they planned to do something with it, at least overseas, until 2012, I believe.
By the way, can you post the link to that report ?
Ah, no problem: http://www.takaratomy.co.jp/company/fina...mei_01.pdf

Though this makes me wonder if Metal Fight will run longer than the standard year. Despite there being lots of toys based on tops, these seem to very obviously borrow heavily from the Beyblade design.
... Did you notice that they talk about Beyblade right below that odd spinning top series ? Almost all the other pages talk about it. I do not know why you thought about going up before they ever mentioned Beyblade to see if there was any information on a new Beyblade series.

On the page right after that, TAKARA-TOMY states that the sales have really exploded since the anime started in Japan, and that the anime will be broadcast in North America in summer 2010 (although Nelvana is the more direct source of information, and they said fall 2010). They might also be saying something about shipping in March 2010 ... Which is indeed spring 2010, the beginning of the Beyblade Metal Fusion toyline in North America.

We all knew that. They probably focused on the very important points, which is development outside Japan.

Obviously they plan on continuing this toyline.

Also, I am not surprised at all that they are not even saying that "outright" : for some reason TAKARA-TOMY has been clouding Beyblade releases with some really unnecessary secrecy. At the moment, they have not even added to their monthly release list anything about Beyblade, while most of the fans know what is supposed to be released this month already ...
Everything they showed in that document is just like them, and in a sense it is enough. Moreover, Metal Fight Beyblade is already a series, so I do not know why they would make another one suddenly ...
That seriously looks like an old RC Driver V2 in a new color LOL
Looks like someone is reusing some old molds.

We have no 'official' idea. Fans who live in the United Kingdom have speculated that they will be released there around the same time, perhaps a few months later though.

As soon as there is information on this, it will be posted.
