A question: why?

Modified parts do not mean to do what you want. Do not imagine things like metal blades and chain saws as shotter! We speak of strict rules, weight and size limit, categorical restrictions and unappealable decision by the arbitrators. As with the old beyblade here in Italy.

Can we talk rationally about this?

Modified parts are not part of the Beyblade series anymore. If you want to start your own company and have a "ModBlade" series and encourage people to use that format, then nobody is stopping you. It is also unfair for people who do not have access to the same materials and technology as you, for instance.
