Something that I think has been pretty interesting with the Beyblade X community is seeing how many different rulesets have been popping up. My favorite is the BCS that New Zealand started using for their tournaments a few weeks ago. For those that aren't familiar, the BCS splits each blade into A, B, and C tiers, and decks have to be built with one of four potential compositions and no repeating parts. It incentivizes new strategies that might not be unveiled in the current meta due to preventing players from doubling up on strong blades like Phoenix Wing and Wizard Rod. While I love this ruleset, I've been seeing a lot of tier lists that have been pretty different from person to person and was curious if the broader X community had different feelings about the categorization of New Zealand's BCS. So, I made this Google Form to understand what the community thinks! I plan on hosting an event sometime in the Spring and want to get as many answers as I can to understand how people feel about the available blades. First update!
After having the poll up for a few days, I went through the results to see what they looked like. At the moment, things are pretty close to the New Zealand BCS with a few changes! I'll link both images below, and this survey is going to be up for a few more weeks while I work out the logistics of running a tournament!

I've said this about other "solutions" to the metagame, but I always found these to be overengineered projects to fight against the inevitable powercreep. The main issue I've found with systems that limit top-tier Blades (in this system, the A-Class), is it often more likely for A to beat A. In a 3on3 Battle scenario, this means AeroPegasus Level will have a higher likelihood of winning against the B and Cs in a deck. It limits AeroPegasus Level, but also most of AeroPegasus Level's counters.

In other words, it will force deck diversity in a vacuum, but the parts that are actually winning most of the points will still be the A-class Blades. It was always more sensible to me for Organizers to just straight up ban parts, but when you're looking to ban or limit the usage of 7 Blades, that's just an entirely different format at that point. It seems that people yearn to play low-power Beyblade X, but don't want to commit to it fully.

Hey, I see what you're saying. This isn't necessarily meant to "solve" anything, it's just a fun ruleset that I think could be neat and bring some other combinations into the spotlight. The way I see it, the game is 50% meta builds and 50% unexplored combos and parts that kinda fall to the wayside due to powercreep. I'd rather not ban anything because I personally don't see the fun in that when there's plenty of time to develop counterplay, and Beyblade is already chock full of variables that can turn things around. When I get around to putting the event together, I plan on having set decklists to track the kinda stuff you're talking about, and since it'll be a 3v3 Deck format everything has to get used at least a little bit.
