Maybe you could help by listing the "rare" beyblades.

i like that..but 5-15 rares is too less...16-20 would be ok..
nah, that will make it like almost impossible. A list I can think of is-
Vulcan Horuseus
Bakushin Susanoo/Susanow IDK what is it called.
Dragoon MSUV
Divine Chimera
Quetzalcoatl, both gold and silver
Mercury Anubis
Tornado Herculeo.
Sol Blaze.
RB rares and super rares
Nightmare Rex.
That's all I can think of.
Would some exotic recolors do?
Sol Blaze?
Well, I am so dumb, it was mentioned above, and I forgot to list it. Well, fixed. Even Cyber is rare, isn't it? But no one actually wants it.
cybers not rare read the 'rare blades you own' topic if you don't no any rare blades
Sorry dude, I know Cyber's not as rare, but as it was available only with a special game, I asked. Stupid
Cyber isn't considered that rare. But Nightmare Rex is !
Not anymore? Counter and Cyber have been released as part of the Legend series or some other hasbro ploy right?
I think it would be nice that, upon sign-up onto the website, you must select what country and providence/state you're from. I think it would help tournament organizers be able to contact members from each area because unlike our voluntary map, we can create a search function for each state/providence.

When I promote tournaments, it takes me hours to PM everyone because I have to search for them on the map and in threads. With this, I could do a search by location on the member list (after that would be created, too) and then PM the list. Done.

The location of state/providence is also vague enough where it's not invasive of each member's privacy because each area is rather large...

... You can search people by location ? I never really saw that.

Also, you would still have to do a filter, because a lot of people would just mark your message as SPAM and our host would be the one receiving all those SPAM complaints. For some reason, some people sign up here, never post, never come back, and when we try to contact them, they complain that it is SPAM.
No, I wanted to suggest searching by location.

Well, by "mass message" I meant PM.
But is there even a plugin that can make you search members by locations ... ?
You can probably make one...

Can't you customize input setting upon sign-up? From there, it wouldn't be too hard to script one.
Maybe as a source of income for the WBO there could be a premium members package, I've seen similar things work well on other forums.

It could include:
A custom look/title of some sort
A face
A "Premium members only" section or certain access to things not allowed by normal members
Other things

It would most likely be a monthly/half-yearly/yearly deal

Not necessarily a good idea, just a suggestion that the WBO could implement if it is in need of money.
(I think the current system of donations for faces and tournament fees/passports works great)

I would really hate that, it would be club penguin or something like that all over again... URGG club penguin without a membership was annoying.

The rare beyblade idea does sound good, and a location search engine does too.

Maybe a page full of ad's to make the WBO make money. It would be on a separate page so it wouldn't have any ads on the forum itself... I get bored often so that would be better to do than just doing useless stuff...
I suggest putting a limit to how many posts per day/week you can make in the off topic forums. As fun as they are, certain groups of people need to gravitate back toward Beyblade discussion.

The WBO has partnered up with TheInToy and Ideal808 (back in the land of OtC) for advertising in the banner, which would not be a bad idea now since we regularly host tournaments.
One of my favourite aspects of this site when I first joined was the lack of ads. They honestly look terrible and pretty much pollute every site they're on. I doubt you can think of many professional run sites with Google Ads running down the side of them.

We'll always try to run WBO without them - I think we'd only ever consider them as a last resort, and they would definitely have to be tastefully done, like a banner on the index like Deikailo said.
Hm ... okay is this a good idea ? When first you open a shop in Your Creations , you could list out the shop artists section on the post including who is helping with your shop , I mean can somebody be hired as another shop artist too for help in making other requests ... ?

Although, it would be nice if we could partner up with online stores in exchange for monthly lottos. For example, we advertise their website and in exchange, there is a drawing for the newest Beyblade release for passport holders. By doing this, it would achieve all of the following:
  • Promote sales for that particular store
  • Gain awareness of the newest release of parts
  • Encourage more bladers to buy blader passports

If we got about three shops to do it, those are some nice odds per month for everyone. The banners don't have to be obnoxiously large and we could design the banners to blend in with our header using the WBO's current colour scheme and design.

It's actually cheap advertising for them considering this is the most trafficked Beyblade website.
I'd say Like/Dislike button. Basically because of what Deikailo said which caught my attention. I was speechless about her idea. I very much agree. Plus, the popularity of the site and its tournaments, we should try to get Hasbro as our partner.

And I think we should have an Pre-Advanced forum for those who has medium knowledge of beyblade. If do then Here are the suggestions:

  • Underlined Italics
  • Pre Adv Forum: Customations
  • Pre Adv Forums: Parts Discussion
  • Pre Adv Forums: Tournament Discussion

I think Pre Advanced forums is a good way to "prep" up for the real one though. Just to get the idea, concept, and preperation.

Pre-advanced forum = Beyblade Customization forum.
