Sen (閃) is a Layer Weight released by Takara Tomy as part of the Burst System as well as the Gatchinko Layer System. It debuted in Japan with Starter Wizard Fafnir Ratchet Rise Sen on April 27th, 2019.
==Description==
Sen is a symmetrical Layer Weight, with 6 diamonds in total surrounding the perimeter. Sen is a rather light Layer Weight, compared to Retsu or Zan, but it has one good purpose: Stamina combinations. Sen, despite having a lower weight, has more Outer Weight Distribution than either Retsu or Zan, and serves a niche as a good Stamina focused Layer Weight when Goku or Diabolos 1 are not available.
==Overall==
Sen is a fairly good layer weight for stamina in the absence of Goku or Diabolos 1, despite lacking weight compared to both of them. It is not a must-have in Gatchinko Layer combinations, but it is a welcome addition to any blader's collection. However, the advent of heavier and better layers that don't use Layer Weights renders all of them outclassed. Therefore, Sen is recommended for collection purposes only in Standard format.
