Layer Base - Flare is a two-sided stamina layer base with six metal balls meant to strengthen centrifugal force. Flare features six metal balls meant to move outward as the Beyblade rotates to maintain spin longer. In reality, the gimmick works as intended though the metal balls can also offset and destabilize a Flare combo if they shift around during high impact. Flare is also one of the heaviest GT layers giving it high inertia and outward weight distribution even without the metal balls. Flare’s two-sided shape causes it to experience high recoil making it easier for attack types to K.O or burst Flare combinations. Flare is outclassed by Lord in Stamina and burst resistance making Flare relatively niche.
