Welcome! This will be a mini tournament series that will be on Wednesdays in between the Clash of Blades series. This is your chance to come on in to practice, work on combos, and improve in the game! This practice/lesson session will be from 6-7 PM. (and will continue on until 9 PM if the tournament doesn't happen)
If at least 8 players come, there will be a ranked (or unranked, whatever the people decide) tournament starting at 7:00 PM. However, as the entry for the tournament is free, there will be no prizes, whether it's ranked or unranked! (Experience is the prize for if it's unranked and a boost in WBO X ranking is the prize for if it's ranked.)
We will be using the TT BX-10 Stadium, so feel free to bring one if you have one!
The cap for this tournament series is 16 as we are starting small, so we will be using the Round Robin and Group Round Robin formats depending on the numbers! The match style will be 3on3 Ft4 Bo3 first stage and 3on3 Ft7 Bo1 Double Elimination for final stage (Top 4). However, there will be some optional rules that are slightly different, which you can see below!
Own Finish
If a Beyblade is knocked-out into an Over Zone or Xtreme Zone
OR is launched directly into an Over Zone or Xtreme Zone
AND without making contact with the opposing Beyblade
Then the Battle ends, and the opponent receives 1 point. The Battle replays with the same Beyblades.
Out-of-Bounds Spin Finish
If the opposing Bey leaves the battle area through the launch area and becomes out-of-play; instead of voiding the battle, it will be considered as scoring a spin finish.
Loser Selects Position After Battle
After each battle within a set, the loser of the previous battle chooses their launch position.
Don't forget, you MUST have a free WBO Account in order to sign up and compete in this tournament, so please make one if you haven't already done so!
