I wanted to make a Killerken MB combo for while since as far as I've seen Earth 230MB either doesn't work very well or isn't very popular. I've been playing around with similar combinations for a while, but found this one works best, better than 230.
Parts explanation
MSF-L: For outward weight distribution, and since basically everything in limited needs a Metal face of some kind.
Killerken: It's one of the best balanced Chrome Wheels, but what's it's got over Genbull in this instance is it's outward weight distribution, which is also higher up than on Genbull.
Bandid: Served better than Shinobi did in my solo spin/balance thread thing. Shinobi's average was 2:12:43, while Bandid hit 2:30-2:45 consistently on the same setup. The design also lines up better than Shinobi.
SR200: Zero-G + SR200 is about the same as MFB + 230 height wise because of the way Chrome/Crystal Wheels are designed. Also it performed slightly better than 230.
MB: Lets the combo spin at extreme angles without scraping.
It's in Chrome up because of Killerken's properties that I already stated and so the Crystal Wheel can absorb attacks from below (since Metal on Plastic is less recoil than Metal on Metal).
So yeah, onto the tests and stuff. I did everything normally, using the BB-10, Beylaunchers L & R, Grips, alternated Stamina vs. Stamina, etc.
Attack testing
MSF-L Bandid Killerken vs. MF-L Lightning L-Drago (Upper) TR145LRF
Killerken: 5 wins (all OS)
LLD: 15 wins (all KO)
1 tie redone
Killerken win rate: 25%
MSF-L Bandid Killerken SR200MB vs. MSF Samurai Wyvang (Crystal Up) H145R2F
Killerken: 14 wins (12OS, 2 KO)
Wyvang: 6 wins (all KO)
Killerken win rate: 70%
Plastic on Plastic has even less recoil. I figured Wyvang would lose, but picked the Crystal Up setup anyways because it is more common in tournaments.
Stamina Testing
MSF-L Bandid Killerken SR200MB vs. MF-L Earth Cancer W145EWD
Killerken: 13 wins (12 OS, 1 KO)
Cancer: 7 wins (all OS)
2 ties redone
Killerken win rate: 65%
The KO was when EWD got hit, randomly went aggressive, and self-KOed.
MSF-L Bandid Killerken SR200MB vs. MF-L Earth Aquario 230D
Killerken: nothing
Aquario 10 wins (all OS)
Killerken win rate: 0%
Aquario shut Killerken out pretty badly, and had plenty of spin left over.
Defence testing
MSF-L Bandid Killerken SR200MB vs. MF-H Earth Bull GB145RB
Killerken: 16 wins (all OS)
Bull: 4 wins (2 OS, 2 KO)
Killerken win rate: 80%
Basically Killerken would spin at about a 70 degree angle and precess around the stadium to OS.
MSF-L Bandid Killerken SR200MB vs. MF-L Earth Aquario 230CS
Killerken: 7 wins (all OS)
Aquario: 13 wins (12 OS, 1 KO)
1 Tie redone
Killerken win rate: 40%
It was much more equal than vs. 230D was, but it came down to the fact that Earth just has better straight Stamina.
Balance testing
MSF-L Bandid Killerken SR200MB vs. MF-L Burn Cancer 90MF
Killerken: 9 wins (all OS, the last 10)
Cancer: 11 wins (10 OS the first 10, 1 KO the last 10)
1 tie redone
Killerken win rate: 45%
To clarify, I launcher Cancer to Tornado Stall for the first 10 rounds, and then Sliding Shot it the last 10.
Conclusion: While Earth/Burn/Scythe/Duo 230MB are better for straight Stamina, this has the Crystal Wheel to protect it to some extent. It also has the height advantage against Short Beyblades and has
Use it against 145 Stamina, Crystal Up Attackers, Short Tracks, and 145 Defense. If you fight a Tornado Staller make sure to initiate contact with MB's semi-aggressiveness and throw off the stall pattern.
