Knockout breakage issue

According to players in both Taiwan and Japan there is breakage issue with the Knockout layer base.  Would like to know if anyone has more information.  See link for the area that is highly susceptible to breakage.

Here is a video.  I am pretty sure it is about this topic but I personally can’t understand it.

This actually really sucks if true I hope there is a solution to not break the layer besides just not using it

Enough Asian Beytubers and toy reviewers and their fans have claimed this I doubt it is totally false.  It could just be some of the layers and not all tho.
I think there are more reports on Apocalypse breaking. It's cause all these layers use PMMA plastic, which is soft but hard to "break". This isn't a problem for rounder bases like Union or Judgement, but when it comes to Apocalypse or Knockout they have a more recoil shape; making them prone to breakage. This is more of an issue for people who don't live in Asia as you are able to replace the any part of the bey is if it has been broken if you do. I haven't had any issues with my knockout base with heavy use; I have 2 spares anyway if a breakage does occur. However, my mates AP has a lot of stress marks and has made the layer blunt; this makes it harder for AP to Knockout lS on Br.
The knockout layer base I’ve used for battles has chipped quite a bit even Regalia and Prime have this issue, ever since Union these releases have just been too easy to break and get worn.

You really can’t use knockout for that many battles like Union since the paint and layer just will get chipped right away.

Where is union chipping I haven’t seen any plastic break at all (on mine just paint wear)

Most of it is paint but other parts of it like the top part of the plastic sword and other sword are chipped
I just hope it wont be severe enough to effect the performance of the layer as all my layers are in pretty good condition even if used a lot

Thanks for the info. I haven't received Knockout yet but its a nice heads-up.

It looks like the damage is on the prongs that holds on to the GT Chip. Does the damage come from battling or replacing Chips?

Some players in Taiwan have claimed this.  I don’t have KO yet so I can’t really say.  As a matter of fact, I hope when I do get KO I won’t ever be able to confirm any of this ?

Oh wow, that's bad if Union is chipping.

I will admit it is a bit tight when placing the gt chip in and out of the Knockout base.
And here we were afraid of Judgement wearing down...
It is probably just a certain mold that breaks easier than others if anything

At least judgement wearing down was a given, it's mostly made of soft, offensive rubber so it wearing down is inevitable.

But this? I don't think anybody could've predicted this.

From what I can see there, that may possibly be due to improper Chip removal, since the stress marks are at the base of that part and no damage on the top piece, which rules out the possibility of damage via battles (like you were testing combos and you accidentally launched onto the other Beyblade with an exposed Core Disk or metal-lined GT Disk.

Colors chipping off Layers is normal, but that breakage in the picture is a bit disturbing and sad, since this the first time I'm seeing this kind of damage to a part.

Unfortunately, I now can safely confirm this issue is real. This is my friend's Knockout layer base, newly purchased. After only one day of use, its already showing the white stress marks on the same spot as the pic you posted. We did battle it a number of times, and switched chips several times too. Still can't confirm which is the main cause, but I'm 85% sure its from switching GT chips since that spot is not exactly a contact point.

Ohhh. That kinda sucks. I don't really have a problem with mine since I rarely swap off Chips unless really needed (like excessive testing because it is too hard to get satisfactory results). I think my KO will be married to Ten Weight (until Goku Weight is more accessible, that is)
Yeah, my Knockout scratching off at the attack points but no issue with removal of Chips.

I don't have one but I've seen them for $40 on Zenmarket, maybe 60 after shipping

The wear on your Union Swords looks similar to the wear on a Xcalius X3 after some use. I expect this is from high recoil. As for KO it does look more of stress from chip replacement. Because I can confirm that certain bases seem to want to bend with the chip when removing. Such as Poison and Wizard. Both of mine don't want to give up the chip when released.
