Kerbecs Combos

As an avid lover of Kerbecs, I've managed to come up with a few successful combos. The first one is Metal Face Basalt Kerbecs 90MF (I originally thought my spin track was 100, but when I compared the two, the one i had was a tad smaller.) This bey is pretty aggressive around the stadium. Your launch, however, needs to be spot on perfect, as it can scrape the stadium when launched improperly. It also has rather low stamina, but it does hit hard and can tank fairly well. My next combo on Basalt Kerbecs was changing the performance tip to HF/S in HF mode, it was very aggressive and had better stamina then with MF. When in S mode, it was less aggressive and overall did not fair as well as when it was in HF mode. My next and current combo that I use is Phantom Kerbecs (attack mode) 90HF This thing is near unbeatable from all my tests. Like Basalt Kerbecs, Launch does play a big factor, but since it's lighter, you don't need to rip as hard, the important thing to keep in mind when launching this bey is the angle you're holding your launcher. You want the tip to be the first thing to hit the stadium floor. The attack pattern on this bey is usually circular, but I have seen it take a flower pattern. This bey hits extremely hard and is fairly fast, which can cause the opposing bey to jump up or get knocked out. Keep in mind, this with a plastic facebolt, not a metal one. Feel free to comment your favorite Kerbecs combos in this thread.
If you were trying to make a stalker combo, go for Phantom Cygnus 85MF with a MF-L I believe.
Can we have some actual tests? This thread is pretty useless without them.

My intent was actually to create a powerful Kerbecs bey, but if I get more MFB beys I'll have to give that combo a try.
So, we kind of need to see some formal tests before these ideas actually go anywhere, buuuut I guess there are some things to point out.

"Phantom Kerbecs 90HF" being completely unbeatable is really silly. What stadium are you testing in? Actually, no, what combos are you testing it against? Because using Phantom and HF for an attack combo just sounds all around silly, and doesn't very good to start with. HF is outclassed by literally anything that starts with "Rubber" and Phantom for an attack wheel just isn't a very good idea for attacking reliably.

Using weight as your main source of attack doesn't sound like a bad idea, but it just doesn't work as a concept when wheels like flash or Wyvang exist.

The other combo, Basalt Kerbecs 90MF - wait, if you have MF, why aren't you using that for your Phantom combo for attack? - isn't so spectacular either.

I mean, none of those particular parts are bad by any means - except for HF in my opinion - but I, and probably everyone else, needs to see tests first. No harsh feelings or anything, but this just seems kinda suspicious.
Also, "You want the tip to be the first thing to hit the stadium floor."
What else could possibly hit the floor first? The metal wheel?
The combo Phantom Kerbecs 90HF could almost work, just use MF instead of HF. Cygnus is better than Kerbecs here but if you want Kerbecs, then I guess it could be used.

Though I actually respect the efforts you made.

When launched at a bad angle, yes. I've had it happen.

I don't think stallers would need to be launched at an angle if it is suppose to stall. Also, I'd use 90MF and Phantom together for stalling. Just a friendly advice Wink
What stadium were you using when you were using these combos? I saw some of your videos, and they were in a hasbro stadium.

If it's a Hasbro stadium, she should just use a good stamina combo really.

Yes, okay. Keep in mind that this is the mfb standard customization subforum, not the build me a combo thread or even the Hasbro metagame thread.

The bottom line is, if there are no legitimate tests against top tier combos in the bb-10, then I don't think this thread belongs.

I'm not trying to be a jerk, but that's really the bottom line.

Right...

Oh I'm not saying this should be a thread of it's own though, it should definitely be a "Build Me A Combo" post.

Yeah, I can confirm it is a hasbro stadium. Those are the only ones I have. As for beys I've tested it against, I've used it against Hades Leone ED145WB and Metal Face Basalt Wolf GB145EWD. In all honestly, I should save up for a bb-10 stadium and test it more.
You could also get someone else to test your customs if that's not an available option.

Ah ok! I didn't actually know that until now. I haven't been this much into beyblade since 6th grade so I still have a lot to learn.

Well if you ever wanted a good custom from your parts, just ask in the "Build Me A Combo". Ah don't worry if you haven't played in a while, a lot of people are like that, it can't be helped.
