Hey all! I, like many I'm sure, am a long time Beyblade fan. I played the OGs up until the HMS system and I was aware of Metal Fight and it's subsequent iterations, but I can't say it or burst caught my eye like the OG series. With X though, idk what it is, but I feel like playing again (it's probably the OG remakes. That Dragoon Storm legit awakened something in me...) from what I've seen though, there isn't a massive Connecticut presence (at least, not through WBO afaik). That said, I'm in a position to potentially have such a presence, if the interest is there.
Currently, I work at the Ferguson Library in Stamford and we're always looking to put on events for folks of all ages. All I'd have to do is ask and I could have the Auditorium or Makerspace rented out for an afternoon (as for what I'd need, like stadiums, prizes, loaners and stuff, that's another story...I *could* get the library to fund it. But I'd just as much buy all that myself tbh.) I'm not guaranteeing anything, but if folks are interested, some noise in the comments could help convince my higher ups that something like this is a worthy investment.
