Hasbro Tornado Beys

After a few searches, I saw there was no topic on this. This topic will be for all Tornado beys released by Hasbro*

So far, a picture of Tornado Eagle can be seen below;

The description for the product in the link above is slightly vauge and the true functionality of the product is unclear. the description has been quoted below.

Tornado Eagle is taller than normal Beyblades and is designed for angled attacks. It can move out of Beystadium penalty pockets and has a narrow Tip for Stamina.

That said, this is bound to be a gimmicky and awful beyblade, along with the rest of the sub-line, but this cannot be truely determined until these beys are tested. I actualy dought if these are real beyblades with interchangable parts, but agian, we will have to wait and see.

According to Toy Wiz, there will also be a Tornado L-Drago, Tornado Pegasis, Tornado Leone, and a Tornado Destroyer**, but no pictures are avaliable at this time. All future information regarding these releases or any others will go on this thread. Unless a moderator says otherwise, i see no reason why each different release from this series deserves its own thread. It just isn't signifigant enough.

*=Tornado is the metal wheel included with the Takara-TOMY Beyblade, "Tornado Herculeo." However, for the Hasbro release of this Beyblade, "Tornado" has been renamed to "Cyclone" making the Tornado Metal Wheel and the Tornado Beyblade Sub-line by Hasbro 2 different things entirly.

**="Destroyer" is the Hasbro version of the Takara-TOMY clear wheel, "Perseus".
But what is there to discuss? We won't know anything for a while and this is old news...
It's been confirmed that the tornado beys are one peice and will have no interchangeable parts.
Does this really needs its own topic? Only thing this will lead to is speculation.
Maybe this topic should be locked for now. At least until these "tornado" beys are released.
Those will all be illegal for any tournament play, so I am not sure this deserves a topic ... Plus, we have been sometimes discussing those for several months now already.
How stupid of Hasbro ... if they exit the penalty pocket then it obviously is illegal ... I don't think this topic is needed and we found about it ages ago ?

even though i made the topic, I am actualy siding with you guys. Tornado beys are hasbro's worst ideas ever in regards to beyblade. I mean, is this like a late april fools joke? that is the only semi logical explination i can think of for these pieces of carp
With all honesty, this looks unbelievably rubbish. Well done, Hasbro. Must be a new record.
I am guessing "Tornado" is the "Track" seeing on how they are both the same.

These Beyblades are just gimmicks, however I kind of want to see the RC Beyblades. Controlling spinning tops to a whole new level, not like using finger grips with magnets Tongue_out

atleast EG's had interchangable parts and worked half the time....this on the otherhand will be a total epic fail.

Besides, you can't blame Hasbro for EG beys. TT made them 1st after all

Hasbro did this with the V2 range aswell. You get control over an electronic engine gear that's charged through the launcher. You can make the tip spin right or left and that's it.
But on a serious note. I don't think this topic is needed right now, or possibly ever.

It might be fun to watch tornado battlers duke it out in a bathtub... :3
lol, i do agree, it doesn't really have a point, as they are illegal, and probably get boring fast as their not customizable, tall and ugly looking beys, probably really weak, and in the end useless and wastes your money....

hehe summed it up in one sentence IMO

Poor Tornado Herculeo...renamed Cyclone and then having its old name stolen from it and used towards this trash hasbro dares call a beyblade...those bastards!

The bathtub thing sounds fun (i wonder, why didn't I do that when I had my Trygle back in the day?)

DUDE!!! WATCH YOUR MOUTH!!!!!

There are minors here!
These things are beyblade(ish)? I might get this to annoyingly poke people. im wondering what the launcher would look like?
If you look at one of the links posted you'll see Tornado Eagle and Tornado L-Drago and their respective launchers. They're just regular ripcord Hasbro launchers. Nothing special.
Well... As expected hasbro destroys cool names..... Unhappy get ready for a gravity destroyer!
Well, there is one positive. Those who can only use Hasbro beys have now been given another way to get a left launcher...even though it is still a rip cord version.
