[Hasbro] Dimension-S Testing and Discussion
After some people showed that Dm-S can outspin Br in opposite spin, I threw in some additional tests. I used SRS3 and tS4 in mirror mode (one left, one right spin). I find it important to use the same layers for best comparability.
All hardware was in good condition. A slightly bent Br driver may not free-spin perfectly.
Hasbro string launcher for SRS3. Hasbro ripcord launcher for tS4 (because it gets stuck on string launcher, what is a known issue).
Alternating launches. TT standard stadium. Dm-S of course in lowest mode.
Test rounds:
Conclusion:
Dm-S could not beat Br in my scenario but it is a good substitute if one cannot obtain Bearing.

I find Dm-S too unpredictable... It could be useful but it takes away from launch speeds significantly if you have to use your primary focus and power on centering it. and even if you didn't, it would only be used in -S mode often (assuming this is in a hasbro stadium.
@Me-has-Bro, thanks for doing some more tests! I don’t have two Turbo Spryzens or Spryzen Requiems, so this is some useful information! I find Air Knight K4 to be the best layer for Dm-S, what do you think?
Yes, Air Knight could work fine. Dm-S has a good stabilisation (it doesn't fall over) to equalize the kinda wobbly big aK4 layer. I will do some tests soon and add them here.
Here are the results of my tests with aK4 on Dm-S in opposite spin. Weak to moderate launches.
aK4.0W.Dm-S vs. SrS3.0W.Br
aK4.0W.Dm-S vs. tS4.0W.Br
So, that was a surprise. Now the real hardcore left spinners:
aK4.0W.Dm-S vs. B3.0W.Br
aK4.0W.Dm-S vs. F3.0W.Br
And thats... wow. Balkesh on Bearing, a force even in Standard Burst Tourneys, beaten by Air Knight.
Till today I didnt find a use for aK4. Its hollow thick layers lets him fail in same spin, but in opposite spin it shines, at least on Dm-s.
There is still room for further testing, like aK4 on Br or Et-S, and if it has the same strong burst resistance like B3 on Br.
