Does anybody else here listen to hardcore punk?
In case you wondering, hardcore punk is music with very fast drumming, somewhat simple guitar playing (it usually depends on the band,) and vocals/lyrics that usually are about opinions, political views, or just plain weird lyrics.
Here are some of the bands I am talking about.
NOFX (a lot of their early albums are HC punk.)
Minor Threat
Bad Brains
T.S.O.L
Rancid (well, 2 of their albums are hardcore punk)
Descendents
Pennywise
Black Flag
etc.
AFI used to play hardcore punk when they were starting out, but unfortunately they turned into hot topic punk (sorry, but that is the nickname I give to bands like that)
