[HELP!] Portal0 Missing Cobalt Drake from Takara Tomy Asia?

Hey guys,

I used the prize redemption service from Portal0 for a cobalt drake two months ago. I've been periodically asking them for updates and been reassured that they redeemed the codes, were waiting on the shipment from takara and that they were out for delivery to me.

Now they're saying the drake just... never arrived to them. That Takara never sent it to them and that the redemption process is super chaotic for Takara as well. They're offering a refund but the redemption window is over now so the code seems like its just lost forever now.

Has anyone experienced this as well? Whether its an issue with portal0 or with Takara Tomy? Am I being scammed? What next steps can I take?

Something interesting to note though, is that in my app nothing happened with the codes as they were supposedly redeemed. Nothing got crossed out or anything until the redemption window passed. For anyone who has redeemed from the app did that look similar too

Yes, I am currently experiencing something similar with Portal 0’s prize redemption service. I sent three codes to be redeemed back in September: two Hong Kong Cobalt Drakes codes and a Taiwan Cobalt Drake code. Followed their redemption process to a T, sent the payment quickly, and waited patiently. After two months, I finally received a package a couple days ago. However, instead of the three Cobalt Drakes I was expecting, only two were in the box. I immediately sent them a message regarding the missing Cobalt Drake and they replied assuring me they were “looking into it”. Nothing was mentioned to me about Takara Tomy never providing the rare beyblades to them. Truthfully, I have a hard time believing that, and even if it were the case, the lack of transparency surrounding the fact is astonishingly alarming.

In any case, you are not alone. Several others have bought product from their store for the sake of redeeming their prizes, sent their codes, paid the invoice, and have been met with radio silence. I wish I had an answer for how you should proceed but it’s a strange situation… needless to say, something isn’t right here haha.
