It was... Interesting. There wasn't anything particular that made it great, it just WAS. It had to have been the feel good movie of forever. Plus it had chocolate. Besides, they added some really useless stuff into the new one, because in the original, if I recall, Willy Wonka was HAPPY to let Charlie's family live there at the end.

But JOHNNY DEPP's Willy Wonka character hated his family.
